Go to your profile > Modify profile > Account settings > and Name > This is the displayed name that people will see. and here you need to change your name and after all scroll down and Change profile. This is it

Correct. When you make certain changes to your forum account, it may ask you to input your current password, for security reasons.

Just go to the bottom and it'll say "current password", enter your password there and then Save and the changes will be completed.
