Currently, we do not have a chat to co-ordinate with nearby players from the same team without letting opponents see our messages. In specific scenarios, having such a chatbox will prove to be useful rather than using localchat / teamchat / groupchat or fmsg. So, what I am suggesting is, having a command /loct which can be used to talk to nearby players from the same team.
Situations where it proves useful for the Police team -
- At times when there are multiple calls, multiple group of cops might respond to these calls at the same time. In such case, using teamchat would cause a chaos
- During a riot, when you want to co-ordinate with your peers using local chat but you don't want criminals to read these messages, nor do you want to use teamchat because there's already something else being talked about over there.
Situations where it proves useful for the Criminal & Gangster team -
- There may be a riot & AR going on at the same time and at these places, using localchat will make messages visible to the opponents aswell, here /loct will show messages only to the robbers without creating a chaos on the teamchat
- While a group of players are store robbing together and they get ambushed by cops, they don't want their strategy to be revealed through their local chat messages, here /loct will prove to be useful.
Situations where it proves to be useful for the Civilian Workers -
- Well... I don't really know any scenario where civilians might want to hide their local chat messages from other teams, but just incase if they need, they have the option.
Summing things up-
- Usage will be "/loct <message>"
- Will show messages to nearby players of the same team
- The messages will carry a (LOCT) tag instead of (LOC).
- Can be bound as a chatbox to a key with the help of "/bind <key> chatbox loct"

Sounds Great as sometimes on the armed robberies/riots you can't lead on local chat because the other team can see your messages so you keep annoying ppl who are not attending that event on teamchat :tick: :tick:

This is one of those suggestions where its just like "why isn't this already a thing" when it clearly should be. I don't see any disadvantage to having it and plenty of advtanges particularly for C n R. No complaints here..

Good idea, There are moments where you can't use local chat like ar's, riots or any other criminal related activity because other people will see it and it can be confusing for them. You can use teamchat, but you might gonna annoy your own teammates since not everybody is attending the x/y criminal activity. If this gets added it would create less confusion. :tick:

A very good idea, many mentioned it already but when you are in a activity you can’t use local chat at that time so adding this would make it easier for communicating. :tick:

This might not be good for civilians, but it is really helpful for declaring tactics without the other side knowing what you are gonna do :tick:

Great idea, it's annoying to keep giving orders about the crim event when there is a lot of people who are not interested about that in the teamchat we just need to give this orders to people who are close to the crim event and interested about that, I'm going Positive.

I've been reading several suggestions, I think this one is worth it, I'm pretty sure it will be very useful for a lot of players, especially in CnR events where talking on localchat is a problem because the opposing team can read your messages and your plan may be exposed. To be honest it's great suggestion and should be added long time ago. Every player in the same time can communicate with eachother without any other teams can read it especially during CnR events, it's going to be used more than /T chat

/loct provides numerous benefits and solutions to improve communication within teams in game. If u are in activity you can’t use local chat at that time so adding this would make it easier for communicating :tick:

This addition it's really needed since when there's an event on-going you wouldn't want to send many messages in the team chat, and annoy the team with repetitive messages, such as when you're leading. :tick:

This addition would really help with the strategies as we have to continously check teamchat while at AR,because we cannot talk in localchat,And also we cannot discuss in /locf because of other side members being in our citbook,So this would really be great :tick: :tick:

this would be a great idea , to avoid confusions especially in Law team chat where the information you get could be misleading , local team chat will help mostly Police chiefs to handle the situations even better, can also have 2 police chiefs at different locations giving orders without it being confusing in team chat. :tick:
