I'm a criminal myself, thus I only have experience from the criminal/gangster side, but now I know that the issue is being experienced on the Police side as well, after having confirmation from a Police Chief. My suggestion, as the title says, is a simple yet very effective solution to players ignoring messages of CB and PCs inside CEs. It's about the addition of [Boss] name tag for Criminal Bosses, and [Chief] name tag for Police Chiefs inside the Criminal Event when using local chat, just like how it is when they use team chat.
CEs are very dynamic where CB/PCs may sometimes have to "spam" instructions and calls, that's why they prefer using the local chat over the team chats most of the time while leading their teams to victory. Not to mention that some players, who are not attending/outside the running CE might find "Rush" "Hold" "Crouch" etcetera messages annoying and useless, and some CE attendees are unaware who's a CB/PC, and who's not, and sort of disregard their messages.
That's all for now, I myself see no drawback in this suggestion, which will not only make CB/PCs more recognizable inside CEs but also play a crucial role in the Criminal Event results.

I fully support that suggestion, I would like to see the same thing inside active AR areas aswell, it's better as long as CBs and PCs will give their instruction with the required attendance in local chat aswell.
Voting Positive.

Criminal Boss and Police chief everyone works hard for the best side he plays. They are known in-game and when they talk in team chat it appear so why not add this in CEs. This will make CB and PC can give instructions for the team to win. Also when CEs are in rush they need those players to make it organized. Postive

Local chat plays a big role in criminal events for both sides. I, always use local chat to guide the cops in the criminal events, so, if this suggestion is added, people may start listening to Police Chiefs and Criminal Bosses in CEs. Good luck with the other votes. Positive
-
Yea it's a good suggestion. Bosses and Chiefs usually talk in team chat because of this reason only as in local chat, their message somewhere gets ignored. I am voting Positive as this suggestion is pretty simple.
-
Well, Local Chat gives a big role for CBs and PCs especially in Criminal Events at Armed Robberys in Los Santos and sometimes their message gets ignored because they didn't identify as [Chief] and [Boss], I hope this simple suggestion may added, Positive.
-
Postive on this. CBoss and PChief are the best roles on any activity especially on CE and AR they must know as also PChief and CBoss in local chat. GoodLuck for the other votes. I hope this will be added.
-
Im so Positive. this makes PCs and CBs chat more noticeable in local chat, its so critical for an activity, but just incase to avoid spam, just like [Guide] tag, [Boss] and [Chief] tag will be only activated when PCs and CBs is on duty, that would be great, example, when wearing CB job, or PC job (?), for CEs, the tag will be auto activated, I guess?
-
Simple yet effective suggestion, it will surely be going too helpful to both of Team side, I am positive with this idea.
-
It was suggested once couple of months ago. I think it was rejected by community or admins. I am not really sure but right now I can only remember that it was rejected once. I vote negative because it will not be used after 2-3 weeks of its addition because it'll be a leak to the otherside which is the enemy. Using teamchat instead of localchat is basically no difference from my point of view. I vote negative.

Please elaborate on what makes you think this addition will not be "used" after two-three weeks' time, or how would this lead to the leaking of team chats to the other side where local chats are always used by PC/CBs while leading their team to the victory, and that local chats of criminals are not seen by cops, and vice verse inside CE?

People who are not playing CE's shouldn't be reading a bunch of spam in team chat coming from the Chiefs/Bosses inside of those events and this suggestion fixes that. Furthermore, CB/PCs are ignored when they type in local quite often because they lack that shining tag next to their nicknames.
Positive.
-
People who aren't in the CE shouldn't see too much texts and leading in team chat, in localchat most of players ignoring but when they see that there's a boss or chief they will start listening and pay attention I don't see any harm in this suggestion. Positive
-
I am going to say yes on this idea as it requires CBs/PCs to be noticed at all times in this kind of events. People and players inside are just ignoring all the commands from the leader as it sometimes not noticeable so I am going to vote positive on this suggetion :tick:
-
Seems fine, and would benefit both sides, as I've while attending CEs PC/CBs often use localchat instead of team chat because they want to communicate those players that are inside the CE so they wouldn't bother the players outside of it by using team chat. I'd go positive.
-
I support this suggestion, this will be so helpful for each sides which they would be able to follow the right orders instead of random orders from other players. Positive

Very well said, I totally agree with slow voting Positive :tick:
-
I'd like to see this added just in CEs area, it'll be something useful for PCs and CBs specially that people nowadays listens for tag colors more than the person who is speaking, that'll be really attractive. Positive obviously.
-
Amazing idea for the CBs and PCs since no one pays attention to the main chat, I think it's a great idea, and also if it is activated in both ARs and CEs, it will be very nice, useful idea and it will benefit both of Criminals and Cops. Positive :tick:
-
Well, I'm totally positive with this idea, some criminals/cops ignore the CBs/PCs leading because they don't have [Boss]/[Chief] tags so adding this will make CE's more interesting and cool because criminals/cops will follow to CBs/PCs lead, Positive for sure
-
Usually, cops/criminals need guidance in a location that can crap those players' attention. I'm voting positive
-
It looks pretty nice, sometimes there are 40-50 + people in local chat like AR/CE and when everyone speaks in unison we can confuse which article we will read and play accordingly, if we add something like this, for example, "[CriminalBoss] (LOC) [61] Darius [18th] : Fall back" This might be nicer, because then maybe we can turn the game to our advantage by following what Criminalboss calls it. Positive.
-
Like you said, PC/CBs sometimes don't use the teamchat and that times we can't see their messages because of spamming and other things. If the tags will use for local chat too their message may more attention and it will be useful for both sides.
Positive :tick:
-
Supporting this idea. As I observed in Criminal side, random players mostly from FFH idk why but trying to lead although there is a Criminal Boss inside then they're ruining all of CEs. POSITIVE
-
Upvoting this suggestion as I have witnessed it many a times that criminals doesn’t follow the orders given by the PCs and CBs most of the times, enabling the Boss and Chief tags will make it visible for Crims and Cops and they will try to follow the orders given by Chiefs and Bosses for which they are chosen for, to lead them till Victory. So Positive.
-
Having this kind of feature in-game will give less messages for the players who is not actually inside the CE which gives them some kind of peace whilst they are not participating any criminal activities. Some of them just love to roam around and do nothing and don't want to see any of those messages. So, I think having this on localchat will actually bring both sides more noticeable plans by both team leaders.
-
Such a brilliant idea, just like the [Guide] tag for Guides that appears on the Local Chat when they warp to newbies or those in need of help. I have served as both Police Chief and Criminal Boss and I can totally confirm that this addition would be useful for our role in leadership inside of the Criminal Event, as many players have spammed chatboxes and need something like this to highlight the orders a Chief/Boss give in the Local Chat. not to mention that Local chat is more effective when it comes to Criminal Events and the fact that some players do /showchat and can only see the messages above players' heads or even have Team Chat disabled.
-
good suggestion, the CB/PC figure giving instructions automatically drowns because there are too many people talking while inside the CEs. Positive :tick:
-
I agree with this, i've seen many players inside the CE not listening to the crimboss or chief when they are making a plan, command, or an instruction so im positive for this nice idea.
-
I ageee with iFrank idea is because many cops dont listen to the respected law officers or sometimes are unable to read the instruction given by a chief or a boss. Adding this to CE it would be a great help to both sides and also the for the Chief and for the boss to express their leadership in an more effective way . My vote is positive
-
In my opinion, this is a very good idea because I think such an update will be beneficial for the server, but also for all the players on the server. I mean, it would be great if Criminal Boss and Police Chief tags would appear in "LOCAL" chat as well as "TEAM" chat. I totally agree with this idea and my vote for this suggestion is positive.
-
Absolutely positive. This will reduce the unnecessairy team chat messages (at least seems unnecessairy for some non-active criminals), and it will help the people inside CE to awknowlege the CB/PC messages as notes/important messages.
-
This is a good idea but I have a suggestion to be custom title [Boss] or [chief] Also in LOCAL CHAT :tick:
-
Well, I also do believe that this will do more good for both sides than any harm during the progression of Criminal Events. It’s kinda okay when criminals do not pay attention to non-CB player who’s trying to lead the CE, since they don’t really have to trust his leading skills, but they should if it’s a CB, and this will help them to be more recognized during the most dynamic criminal events. Voting positive.

- Added [Chief] and [Boss] tags to local chat in criminal event dimension. (Arran + iFrank)
