General Guides / 'Overclocking' Your Monitor
« Last post by Clark on 10 05, 2024, 06:53:22 pm »
Hi everyone, just wanted to share something with everyone in the community that might be helpful to most of you. As you know, you can have the beefiest and best computer a man could possibly have but without a lot of knowledge you can have just a 60hz or even as low as 50hz monitor.

Now you might be asking yourself, why would I care how many hertz my monitor is? Well let me explain. I will bring the example on CIT so it doesn't confuse anyone. Let's say you are playing at a stable 144 FPS but you have a 60 HZ monitor, you will only be able to experience the 60 FPS smoothness. Just because your computer is able to run CIT on 144 FPS does not mean you are seeing these frames per second because you are being limited by your monitor. Which really does suck.

I used to play Fortnite, and I would be running around 250-350 FPS but the game would still feel like shit for me compared to my friend's gameplay, and I realized that it is because the max refresh rate of my monitor is only 60hz.

Anyways, back to the topic and how to overclock it. It is very simple but the sad part is I only know how to do this on an Nvidia GPU (sorry to my AMD people).

So, head over to your desktop screen.
Right click on your desktop and find Nvidia Control Panel.
Show content

Then go click on the left hand side "Display > Change Resolution"
Show content

You will come to this screen, then you need to press "Customize"
Show content

After clicking customize, you will be redirected to this page. Click on the box to check mark it, then press "Create Custom Resolution".
Show content

Then you will be redirected again to another window, you will see many things here but the only thing you need to worry about here is where it says "Refresh Rate". Now in this page you need to play around with it. Go up by increments of 5, so let's say it's set to 60 for you right now, go up to 65, if it doesn't give you black screen move up to 70 and so on. If at any time you get a black screen and your monitor does not turn back on just press ESC and it will return you to the safest refresh rate.
Show content

You can also go up by increments of 1, see what your maximum will be. As long as you screen stays on and it doesn't black screen then you are fine where you are. I have a 240hz monitor, and I was able to push all the way up to 265hz.

Just like always, please let me know if you have any questions or need any help with any of this.

I took a look into your old applications in 2019 and you had this one: 58FFD2CA9A775ED3178FF20E037C1291

I guess this should be your old serial unless you were using another laptop than yours.

I played MTA during the 2020-2021 period, and I went inactive for several years. In 2024, I came back to the game with my laptop after losing my old PC. Is there any way to find out my old serial? Please, someone, help me in this serious situation to recover my old account.

Hello dear community members and owners, I think it's very beneficial for the server to allow crypto for donating as well *Crypto Wallet*  why?

Well first you wouldn't have to deal with refunds because there is no such a thing when it comes to crypto, and also sensitive information such as real life name etc
and second some countries have problems dealing with Paypal because of the sanctions for example Russia, where I live it's very hard well almost impossible to pay anything with Paypal

Crypto has been around for ages, but only Bitcoin is accepted on this site

General Guides / Increase FPS/Performance in Any Game
« Last post by Clark on 07 05, 2024, 09:57:24 pm »
Hi Community, I am bringing you here to show you a simple way to improve your PC's performance with a simple tool. It is called Atlas OS. OS stands for operating system, some of you might be familiar with custom operating systems but most of you might have no clue what it is about. I am here to explain it and guide you through the whole process. This will work on certain PCs and even Laptops as long as you meet the requirements. The good thing about this is that it will tell you if you meet the requirements or not before it starts changing up things in your operating system leading you to a bricked PC. The best part is that it's completely free! ( Even though I have the best PC someone can obtain I still use it because it just makes everything so much better and clean).  It will noticeably increase your FPS I assure you.

IMPORTANT
: This does require fresh installation of Windows! Trust me though, some of you may hear this and refrain from installing it but it is 100% worth it! But you will not need to re-install windows again before knowing if you meet the requirements!

So let's get started!

Here is the website where you can get it.
Show content
.

System Requirements

- Compatible with Windows 11 or Windows 10 system requirements.

- Processor: Must have a 64-bit CPU; ARM-based CPUs require Windows 11.

- Download ISO File: Get the latest ISO from Microsoft’s servers for Intel and AMD CPUs. For ARM CPUs, the ISO needs manual creation.
- Network Drivers: Download and store your network drivers on external storage as your PC might not have them by default.

Reinstalling Windows

- Installation Method: You can use either a USB drive or a method that does not require one. Disconnect from the internet during this process.

- Mount ISO: Right-click the downloaded ISO file and open it with File Explorer. Note the drive letter.

- Run Setup: Use the `Run` dialog (Win+R) to start the installation by typing the drive letter followed by `\sources\setup.exe`.

Driver Updates

- Automatic Updates from Windows Update: Easiest and best for compatibility.

- Manual Driver Installation: Offers control over driver versions and avoids potential bloat.

Installing Atlas OS

- Download Tools: Visit atlasos.net (I linked it above) to download the Atlas Playbook and AME Wizard.

- Prepare for Installation: If opting for manual driver installation, run the provided registry file to disable automatic driver installations and reboot.

- Update Windows: Ensure Windows is fully updated via Settings.

- Install Atlas OS: Open AME Wizard, update it, and drag the Atlas Playbook file into it to start the installation.

- This processor is extremely simple, it requires some English knowledge to know what you want or not want, after finishing the installation you will get a folder on your desktop with all the optimisations/customisation you can do to your PC. All of them have text documents located inside, explaining what it will do to your computer if you were to enable it. There is absolutely no risk and most importantly like a lot of other custom operating systems, this one LETS YOU KEEP your Anti-Virus active and installed!

Post-Installation

- Your Old Windows Installation: If present in `Windows.old`, you can remove it from Storage settings once you've secured any needed data.

- Finalize Drivers: Depending on your earlier choice, install or update drivers.

All of this seems a lot, but don't worry it's actually fairly straight forward. If you run into any issues or for some reason you do not meet the requirements for the custom OS reach out to me I will help you out.
