Are you interested in playing CIT? Or do you have a friend who you'd like to introduce him to the server but you don't have time to do so? Then this tutorial is important for you! In this tutorial, I'll explain how to connect to install MTA, how to connect to CIT Server and what should you do once you start the game!
Chapter I: Installing Multi Theft Auto : San Andreas
Go to
the official MTA website
. Once you're there, press the download button that's in the middle of the screen. Which looks like this
It's size is 49mb.
Follow the tutorial in the following screenshots.

Chapter II: MTA User Interface
Once you open MTA, It'll ask you for a name. You can chose any name you want, since you can change it later.
You can change your MTA/GTA:SA Settings. You can do that by pressing on the 'Settings' in the main menu. A GUI will open up, it'll look like this

In this GUI, you'll find several game settings. Check those screenshots for information about every tab in Settings menu.

Chapter III: Connecting to CIT Server
There are several ways to connect to CIT Server. They're the following:
Go to
https://cit.gg/index.php
. Then press on this button at the top left of the webpage
Then you'll find yourself connected to the server automatically
Press Quick Connect in MTA Menu, then type this in the address bar 'mtasa://94.23.158.180:22003'. Then press 'Connect'
Press Server browse in MTA Menu, then type in the search bar 'CIT Cop'. Then you'll find "CIT Cops 'n' Robbers, Gang Wars, Civilians | cit.gg". Double click on it to connect.
Chapter IV: Registering an account
MTA might ask you to download an update before connecting to the server. Let it download then press 'Ok' so it installs it. MTA will restart and you'll connect to CIT server.
Once you're connecting, server files will start downloading. I don't remember exact size but it's less than 100mb. Once it finish downloading, you'll see this window

Press on 'Create an account'. This window should look like this
Show content
Enter your username you'll use in order to login into your account. Keep in mind that you can not change this later. It's also recommended to use simple letters so it would be easier for you to remember. After that, enter your password. Make sure that no one knows this password except you.
Enter your e-mail. In case you've forgot your password or someone have managed to somehow hack into your account and change your password, you can use your e-mail in order to recover your account password and get your account back. So it's highly recommended to set an email.
After that, Select where you'd like to begin. Select
LS - LSPD
to spawn at Los Santos Police Department. Select
LS - Grove Street
to spawn at it and begin your life as criminal. Or, select
SF - Employment Office
to spawn at the area where there are all CIT Civilian job markers. Keep in mind that you can change the job/side later. So it doesn't really matter which side you'd like to start at since you'll be able to change it.
Chapter V: CIT Ingame!
Once you spawn into the server after choosing the skin you'd like to start with, you'll notice several help information on buttom right of the screen. I recommend checking them since they're very important.
After that, it's highly recommended to check F1 and read the server rules. Please, don't ignore the server rules. There is a very high chance of breaking a CIT rule if you've ignored it. Server rules are available in almost every single language around the world. Such as Arabic, French, Russian, Turkish and etc..)
If you'd like to try a job but you can't since you don't know how does it work, Press F1 and type in the search bar Job - <JobName> (Ex: Job - Iron Miner). There are also job guides on forum.
Civilian Jobs Guide
,
Police Officer Guide
&
Criminal guide
There are lots of activities you can do in this server. Such as Turfing with your Group mates, Cop killing, Arresting/Killing criminals, Joining Criminal Events and lots of other activities! In short, this is a virtual life server.
The F1 command is really helpful for newbies. As it contains every single information about the server. If you couldn't find the specific help or you don't really like to search in F1. Press J > Support Chat, then type your question and a CIT member will going to help you.
If you'd like to save some time by not reading all job guides in F1, check the tutorial and guides board so you could see every single tutorial that's related to CIT.
In order to be able to communicate with other players, there are several types of chats in the server. Press J while you're ingame and a GUI will appear. This GUI have most of the ingame chats. Check the bottom right corner in the screen, you'll notice a sentence telling you how to use X chat using commands (You can use it by doing T > /<chat) ex: T > /sup). It looks like this

Delete this post please, I guess it's useless to create a video tbh.

I think if we could add how to speak in support chat or local chat it will be useful
Support chat
Press J>Support chat or use /sup text
Group chat
Press J>Group or do /gc text
Squad chat
Press J>Squad or do /sc text
Local chat
Press J>Local or press 'U' and talk
Main chat
Press J>Main or press 'T' /main text
Team chat
Press J>Team or press 'Y' and speak
After typing any text press enter.
If you feel lazy to put '/' Use F8>and directly use main text

Already talked about support chat. For localchat, it appears on button right of the screen.
I'll add a part about chats.
