This is about rewarding the efforts you made and an important matter to keep players online tbh. You are making 3k+ damage in an event which means you're basically carrying the event not only kills but in the end the reward you receive just feels like a joke.
Actually you are rewarded, and doubling the current reward isn't the solution on keeping players online. I am complete aware about the competition and brag-rights of being on top and having high Crim rep and AP. What happens after everyone has millions of Rep/AP?
Are you familiar with the saying "You're building a palace in fallacy of homing a princess"? Things are suppose to be Scarce in order for one to actually see its value. If gold was as common as dirt, would you say you are rewarded when I give you gold? I bet if I do, you'd feel like a "joke" cause you want something more precious, more rare and hard to get.
