I have experienced it so many times already that criminals that aren't wanted, help their wanted friends by ramming police vehicles while they're doing a pursuit on the wanted criminal. Simply fix it by making unwanted criminals and gangsters drive through police vehicles (just like the civilians do already).
It seems like a logical thing that must be done. I'm not going to waste my breath into this discussion topic, I have said what I want and why I want it.
Some solution must be provided for this, I believe this is the simplest thing we can do. If anyone has a better idea, feel free to post it here!
-
Not a bad idea, Would surely prevent CIT players from trolling. An other solution would be giving the criminal that rammed the police vehicle like 2 times within a certain period of time a star.
-
Yes, Thoughtful idea this will avoid us many troubles with criminals and it will be good for criminals too because sometimes while chasing a criminal you might ram them with full force without noticing that this is the wrong guy, so yea from all of the sides its useful
-
I agree with you because unwanted criminals can use their cars to prevent police vehicles from chasing the wanted criminals and getting away with it with no punishment and they can make they criminal escape
-
It would be better that we make ramming cops if you're a non-wanter Criminal result in a wanted level for violating traffic rules. I bumped into situation like this and it is really frustrating. Well as the server is based on role-play I think it would make sense that they get wanted level.

It surely would make sense, but won't it be abusable? Of course we could make it like this but still. If the troller is aware of it then he'll prevent himself from getting wanted. Or will the police abuse this in order to get someone wanted

I don't often support ghost modding but since almost everyone is ghost modded anyways this will be fitting addition.
About criminals getting wanted for ramming cops. Cops are breaking traffic rules just as much as criminals so them getting wanted is unfair. Some criminal can drive around normally and then some left side driver cop could crash at him. It'd just be annoying.
-
well I am not a cop to experience that but I can tell it is kind unfair for law times too and it calling abusing , I don't think we need to add ghost mode or something like that we already have one , like if u switch to civ none can hit ur car same thing back to cops and UNwanted criminal , I am supporting ur idea :tick:
-
Nah not supporting this since you won’t be able to help your friend/groupmate when a police trying to catch him, so removing this will be useless just like the civilian mode ...

@Sinon people like you should get jailed or even banned though. Abusers..
Actually, people like you are already being jailed. Trolling isn't allowed, how are you even supporting this??

I did not mean by abuse it, did I said I support crashing others players ?
To reality un wanted people may become a wanted due crashing, which it’s good thing to help, also the random crash is kind of the fun when you follow wanted criminal and then you random player you may add this as fun thing,
Btw supporting something does not mean I do it LoL

Unwanted criminals can use their cars to prevent police vehicles from chasing the wanted criminals and getting away with it with no punishment and they can make criminals escape. But it's also unfair for law and its called abusing. Anyways I'm supporting.
-
I notice this a lot but maybe they can make it so if a unwanted criminal rams a cop car then they end up getting wwanted I feel like more people will avoide cop cars instead of hitting them on purpose.

I'm up for this as well but we will need precautionary measurements for this then. Like where does the criminal hit the police car, how many times in X seconds, what was the speed of the police car and the unwanted criminal, etc.
This wouldn't be easy to script I suppose but it would make a way better solution than the ghost mode.
-
Yes, thoughtful it is not a bad idea, would surely prevent CIT players from ramming and disturbing behavior and trolling each other, also would giving criminal that rammed the police vehicle like 2 times, so totally I agree with you and supporting your idea with positive vote. :tick:
-
This used to happen to me some times when I try to join Criminal Event (to rest a bit from Civilian side) some random (cops/criminal) just ram me with no reason and I also see some random cops ram me just to damage my car or to make you mad and start killing them and get easy kills so this idea will prevent all of this and I really like it :tick:
-
I think it's kinda funny and make this game real, when we ram or crash with the others. Sometimes we just ram someone by mistake and not w/ purpose to disturb. But even if we did it with a purpose to help a friend, what's the problem? I understand it can be kinda annoying, but it makes the game closed to reality. And by adding this ''ghost modding'' will destroy all the fun.
Negative :cros:

I understand the reasons of this suggestion, but, more than a "fight" between cops & crims, I see this like a players' relationship. Criminals can co-operate among them to save theirselves from being chased, increasing their co-operation as players of this server. If you ask me, being a civilian (with this "ghost mode" that it's being suggested for this case) you can feel lonely many times (except the TEAM chat, sometimes) because you don't have any "physical" interaction with another civs (tbh, the only interaction that you can have is crashing a player that is on foot with your vehicle), but with cops and crims, we can actually see team work, in both sides, so I think that this will decrease that co-operation that I've mentioned, and I believe we never should lose that. Negative :cros:

It would be useful for both criminals an cops so if cop is chasing criminal so he wont hit the unwanted one

Due to the low difference between positive, negative and neutral votes your topic will remain as it is now.
As an additional note, the neutral/negative votes pointed out similar ideas to this one:

Well, the reason for adding this is to give a chances for unwanted criminals to help their wanted criminals to escape from the cops by driving through police vehicles ? , Neutral for now.
-
i can't find a wrong reason with this "ghost mode" , because there 2-4 players ramming or crashing each other, why I should to change the whole system for that I see no reality deserve to change the whole system for that if it get added it will ruined the roleplay so keep it as like that , sorry i'll be negative

This would actually be the best solution for me too, (but it will not be 'easy' to script).
I like your suggestion, because I'm a cop too and I have experienced this recently, but I don't fully like the ghost mode thing. 「(゚ペ)
Let's wait and see where this thread goes, I will stay neutral for the moment.

Even though im a cop and its pretty frustrating getting rammed but still,
I don’t get why we want to ease everything and what not, if you’re in pursuit and getting rammed by criminal(non wanted) just let it be, its part of CnR, I mean if the guy is just doing it for no reason, we already have a rule set in place to report, Plus why not get better in driving and avoid getting rammed rather than just coming up with such idea. Why script something that is hard and would beneficial to one side only?
-
Well I do not support this at all. You guys as cop chase a wanted criminal outnumbered. So it is fair that criminals have that ability. negative

Not always? And I personally find it not fair since they have no business to ram us, this is simply trolling. If the guy wants to ram us, let him be wanted, so he has a reason. For such purposes this would be useful..

I think this is unfair. What if more than one cop chase one criminal? If a criminal is most wanted, bounty chaser cops will always be on him. How is he supposed to escape if 2+ cars ramming him? What if the 2+ cars have a copilot that shoot into the car too? It will be harder for a criminal to escape. I'm downvoting this.

That doesn't allow the criminal to troll the cops?
-
Yea that great idea because some time you follow Criminal wanted there Criminal rammed me and stay to save his friend so my vote Positive

Im not supporting the ghost mode really, What about adding some other restrictions such as “Ramming a police car while driving on a high speed (The limit will be discussed) will give you 2 stars and will freeze you for 5 seconds”.
This would be as a punishment for who wants to disrupt the officers endavors.

I fully support that but there must be precautionary measurements, so cops can't abuse it and so it doesn't happen randomly.

Yes I agree with you as sometimes cops just randomly ram unwanted players for fun and it sometimes even kills you for no reason. supporting

What happens if a wanted criminal is inside an unwanted criminal's car? will the car pass through police vehicles in this situation?? If yes then I disagree because of being abuseable. If not I fully agree because it decreases the accidents. @Ptole I need your answer here.

Well of course such measurements must be taken, else it shouldn't even be added at all imo. :)

Added (again).
