Yes. Or you can hide it in the jail (not when you are arrested) by using the vehicle manager

Not saying names but I've witness some cops trained to drive a captured car in a river in lass than 30 seconds. so +1

I agree with that , I always when i'm wanted cop arrest me in my  car while it's 100% health after I left jail I find it 29% . -_-

OR the car/bike/plane/ship could be recovered on recovery point (any type), or special arrest point, where are all cars of prisoners. That should be somewhere close to after-jail point.
