On Wednesday at 19:00 (Timezone 0) we are having a short notice test of 1.1 basically you'll just need to play the game or even just idle. We need 30+ people online for bandwidth usage monitoring not for long. This test is on behalf of an MTA developer who is making 500 players online more and more possible something which is one of CITs final goals.
More information to come closer to the date, which is soon.
It is essential that we get enough players so if you can, be there.
You'll get to test the new features to CIT and MTA 1.1
Details:
1. Be online at 7:00pm (timezone 0) on Wednesday.
2. Download and install: http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-blue/downloads/detail?name=mtasa-1.1-data-r2442.exe&can=2&q=
3. Download and install newest nightly at the time of the beta from here: http://nightly.mtasa.com/
For example mtasa-1.1-unstable-2760-20110606-net41A9.exe
4. Start game, find us in server browser, join server, play or just idle.

The goal is to perform three tests. The first one will be to gather information of how "bad" the current bandwidth usage is. The second one will be to check if the introduced improvements have made any effect, and to build frequency tables to introduce compression in the protocol. The third one will be to test this compression.

I think America is -6:00 GMT, and it starts at 7:00PM 0GMT, that means that it has to be 1:00PM in America if I calculated good. (I suck in math)

It will be open for as long as needed and then close because I don't want people getting bored and not be willing to turn up to the other betas we'll have to have.

Its too bad i cant get on the test, Because my MTA 1.1 is stuck on "MTA LOADING" and i keep having to reinstall!! :(
