512 kb/s as in kilobytes, is good, as in kilobits, no. kb/s is for kilobytes and kbps is kilobits but if your "ping is always terrible" then its probably kbps.

What the... 24GB of RAM?! What would you need such a HUGE amount for? I have half of that, and that is way more then necessary, no matter what I try to do to stress out my pc..

Servers require more RAM than a PC. DNS uses 600 MB and MySQL can use 1 GB add on a bunch of game servers and other stuff, but yeah we'll never use 24 GB, we bought it for the extra bandwidth not the RAM.

So it's physical server, not MTA server. This thing hosts our (CIT) server. Anyway, when MTA 1.1. arrives, we will all go on MTA 1.1. where CIT2 is waiting or us, being developed for quite some time. Maybe there will be new beta testings so you will be able to get a peek at what our future will look like
