Everyone in this server knows that Farmer and Fisherman jobs are abandoned and that's for various reasons. But I truly believe that the main reason they're abandoned is for their progress, it takes a lot of time and effort to level up in these jobs so it would be great to make it a bit faster, the adjustments suggested above by Metall are more than fair in my opinion and they wouldn't harm anyone.

I one hundred percent agree with Metall the current farmer job it's so so bad imagine doing all that for only one hundred bails when you got to make a loot of lines of seeds + collecting the time that you waste dosen't even deserve the XP you working for that's why after the last update of the Farmer job everyone left this job and now it's a super dead job like lot of other jobs so I totally agree with this suggestion  :tick:

Yeah good idea. The jobs are pretty hard and it takes a long time. Both of these jobs play pretty rarley, so this would help.  :tick: :tick:

As a fulltime civilian and most especially farming as my beloved things to do in the server, I can say the recent update was truly unfair and bs, and I abhor it. As everyone agree and the constructor of this suggestion explained, the current farming method takes absurd amount of work to progress and to earn, THAT ALSO INFLICTS A SIGNIFICANT FACTOR IN PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO WISHES TO WRITE OUR NAMES IN THE SERVER HISTORY, NOT JUST IN FARMING BUT PRETTY MUCH ON MAJORITY OF ALL THE JOBS AS CIVILIAN. Imagine planting, harvesting and then walking to pickup the bales by WALKING(for non-vips) 3-4

Meaning you have to go around the field 3-4 times when you plant, 3-4 on the harvesting and 3-4 for picking up bales. Total of around 12 rounds in the field to finish 1 harvest not including the waiting time after planting
times EACH every 100 seeds and to only get like what? 200-300(I don't have the accurate number). And somehow some way, developers thought it was OP and overpaid? While crims, gangster earns money by "Turfing" then doing nothing most of the time cause they can simply agree with the opposing faction not to engage with each other :fp:  :fp:

So, I agree to suggestion and to the idea of bringing back the old farming method atleast as a gift to us civilians who has the most boring occupation on the server.  :tick:  :tick:

No one has confirmed that the farmer progress was 200 crops harvested in progress for every 100 bails collected for a long time. I was always under the impression that it was only 200 for a brief moment and then later fixed back to 100. I think 200 is too much considering you can reliably get 100 progress every 7 minutes. this means 70,000/100= 700 cycles of harvesting. 700 cycles at 7 minutes each is 4900 minutes which comes out to 81.66 hours to get L10. This is not outrageous in comparison to other jobs and many people had to endure the long journey to 70k bails already.

The idea is nice but his suggested implemention as my friend here, Farm, explains. 200 bails with the same amount of progress per bail is somewhat tail over the rainbow. And another issue is, if you can refer to the current farming system (100 seeds per rotation), it would already require you alittle to or half of the field (longest fields SF sea farm and Blueberry farm) how much more if you use Flintstone farm. The current system already makes you plant back and forth 4x, harvest back and forth 4x, and walk (Fly if VIP) to pickup the bails 4x Back and forth around the field. As long as the gap per plant is not reduced, I dont think making the seeds to 200 would be much viable than we think.
