I agree with this suggestion, actually this job is underpaid and low playable, if to this you add the nitrous usage that you spend to collect iron it's more underpaid, so I am positive.

disabling nitrous completely is sort of an OP feature to add, but minimalizing it is better mimicking real life spacecrafts or probes as they consume the least amount of fuel when they are in space, overall positive with reducing not completely disabling , good idea tho  :tick:
