So, today, I decided to have some sort of small new year event, because I was bored.
Some staff was up for it, and it went well.
Currently we have /quiz, which gives you some questions and money and such.
However, I'd love some sort of custom quizzes.
So basically event managers are able to create 1 question using a gui and the first one answering perhabs.. /answer question here, wins the price.
So, basically:
The GUI should have:
Question:
Answer:
Price:
Time To Answer:
Answers:
That GUI could uhm.. Maybe be as /customquiz
Then when you click "Ask Question!" it would output in mainchat as Event Chat (so that people still can muting)
An example:
EventManager does: /customquiz
*GUI Opens*
--[[GUI inputs
Question: What does CIT stand for?
Answer: Community of Integrity and Transparency
Price: 20000
Time To Answer In Seconds: 15
Answers: 2
]]--
Event Manager clicks "Ask Question!"
Script outputs in eventnote: What does CIT stand for? Use "/answer answer here" to answer! Price: 20000$ (15 seconds to answer)
Player1 does: /answer Community of Integrity and Transparency
Player1 recieves a message only for him saying: Congratulations, you won! Here's your 20000$ :-)
Player2 does: /answer Community of Integrity and Transparency
Player2 recieves a message only for him saying: Congratulations, you won! Here's your 20000$ :-)
Script outputs in eventnote: Player1 and Player2 won! The correct answer was: answer here
Player3 does: /answer Community of Integrity and Transparency
Player3 recieves a message saying: Sorry, someone answered before you.
OR
Player3 recieves a message saying: Sorry, there's no question to answer at this time.
I hope that was understandable, and I hope to see this getting scripted :p I'm not the only one who wants it
EDIT:
Also, I forgot..
Limits!
Make price limit 25k or something per question :p Just incase some EM makes a typo and e.g. gives 200k for one question, or something.. Well, yeah..
