I thought I'd make this thread for community members to share their favourite quotes from positivity and Stoic literature. Hopefully these quotes can help people out in their time of need, or at least help them to think more stoically.
I'll kick is off with a quote from Epictetus:
What really frightens and dismays us is not external events themselves, but the way in which we think about them. It is not things that disturb us, but our interpretation of their significance.

For me, I am very interested in this quote.
Any day we wish we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.
