As you know there are many squads with players of both criminal and law side. Main problem is some ppl may use it to localize other players location and kill/focus them, which lead to insults and probably one of them leaving. For this I thought on adding a button in F6 - Squad to hide your own blip but if you do this, you will not be able to see others blip neither.

Or we could add an option in /settings like:
Hide squad blip: Yes/No
Info text: By hiding your squad blip others wont be able to see you in F11 or mini map, but you couldnt see them neither.

Its called squad for a reason, if they don't respect each others for the simple fact that they are from the same squad that most likely has a rule to this, then I don't know what you waiting to either ask a leader to kick them or leave.

This is a great idea. Actually, I do not join squads because of the reason you stated above :tick:

I like your idea that happen alot in my squad team mates
but I think adding an option in /settings better then add option in F6 so players can decide that

I'm supporting you in this idea, not for what you said above if squad have a cop/crim, but about i'm one not need any blip in my map cuz tbh this point annoying me so much and if we can add same button for groups too will be great, and if we cant add it in F6 we can add it in setting will be good too.

I don't think the coming of something like this would cause any trouble. I think it is unnecessary for such an innovation to take place my vote is neutral

Being called squad has nothing to do, there are many squads with players from different sides. Im gonna give you an example from my squad, I got members from my group and "enemy" groups, squad blip does nothing but reveal their position and therefore ruin wars/ create problems between members inside the squad. Another example could be a criminal being wanted, so a cop from the same squad can know his position easily. This suggestion is to avoid all of this stuff and more, you cant expect everyone to have the same reasoning.

Wow thats a great suggestion, not only for cops and criminals but also for LV players
For example I am turfing and another member with me in the squad in the enemy group trolling, I will know his location fast and go fast to him,and that will cause problems..so yeah better to have this option.

Upvoting, sometimes you find yourself with people whom you don't want them to know where you are at so if you disable being marked it would be useless since they can still see you on the radar, this would be useful to avoid being annoyed.

It's annoying to be followed by your squad member who's in your enemy group or playing as a cop and you are a wanted criminal. So yeah I am supporting this

See sometimes you need to stop being unfollowed by crazy players "stalkers' I call or whatever they are and let them stop annoying you so you need stay in the shadows sometimes
With this Hide/Unhide Blip it'll be cool to hide yourself from stalkers and unhide yourself whenever you need to do.
also suggesting one for groups it'll be also useful for groups as it's gonna be added for squads, groups are also gonna need it, and plus so we can keep the balance between groups and squads new features.
By the way upvoting this one.

yeah it's annoying when you're plaining something to maintain your position hide, but when you are in a mixed squad you'r criminal squad mates can see you wherever you are and ruin your plans

Why not, almost every squad has the same situation, a player follows another player just to troll him/her because of there own problems or because they're in enemy groups.. why knows. To avoid this kind of stuff in near feature, we should implement this.

good idea in my Opinion. but if we could do it with the settings this would be better , let the community choose what they want. positive.

I agree with this suggestion, many squads contain some trollish members and it is annoying to be constantly informing them of your location, especially in LV. It makes using tactics in LV impossible with them knowing your location.

Agree, it can be annoying when you're trying to hide from a criminal or from a cop while a member in the same squad as you can easily spot you on the radar. So there wouldn't be any point of hiding. Unless this option gets added.

Upvoting. Sometimes there might be people in the same squad and both are in different groups, and those groups are enemies, so they start to target each others from squad blips.

I actually wanted to suggest this long time ago but I thought the problem is in my squad only lol, This would be really nice if this gets added.

It can be annoying because your squad member can troll/follow you about something, half of my squad members are in the criminal groups, this is suggestion would be nice for like these problems.

Yes nowadays most of the squads are merged with crims and cops .And these 2 teams are fighting with eachother .So disabling blips will make everything way more clear so :tick:

I think this idea is great but adding option in /settings is better than adding option in F6, because F6 has options for the group/squad/unit like leaving and members and info but something like your suggestion is for who has this problem so you can change it from your own settings not from F6, Upvoting anyway.

This is truly magnificent idea as we can see it on our mini-map; it somewhat blocking the blips of others which we can't see it clearly. Disabling it might've been a good idea since after all; you can still check the /settings to make your Alliance colored to "Green" name on their names. It means they are your alliance and for squad as well. There are times, that the squad members blip are too big to see the SO Events which blocking the blip and sometimes you did not noticed that you actually just passed by on the delivery points. Adding Disabling Squad Blips is up to your choice whether to remove it. You are the only one who can remove and enable it. Others will probably prefer to have blips on. Positive.

your idea is cool and it will be helpful because when I was in Ex Squad so many criminals hating me in this squad and they were mark me always to targeting me for nothing , so this idea will be good enough for who's hate the others players my vote is positive

Upvoting this. It's reasonable to actually hide from your squad member especially when you have a squad that have mixed members between criminal group and law group. :tick:

Makes sense, squads members might troll each others and follow each others which lead to insult as you mentioned, this sometimes makes senseless fights and ruin the squad which makes them leave the squad, never happened with me but since you are leader of a criminal group and in criminal/police squad then you surely had an experience with this so yeah it should be added and it surely going to be useful, players would like this feature even staffs sometimes get trolled from players in their squad like following them and annoy them so yeah I believe our community would like this.

Simple idea and makes sense since some people really hate Squad/Group blips and those blips annoy them a lot. so by adding this option we'll get rid of those trolls or annoying blips. Our community needs this and It's necessary and I know it seems to be a trivial suggestion but it'll be helpful! Supporting :tick:

hmm we are talking about squad? it's the same also for the group who play as criminals and cops also , " hybrid" it's the same problem or you gonna teamup with your own group mates? why onlythe squad since we have the same problem for the hybrid groups so I don't agree with you

I am upovoting this suggestion as that will help alot as I left from many squad bcuz of this trouble it's really annoying

I am supporting your suggestion because as you mentioned in the post that if a squad has both cop and criminals in the same squad it could be difficult, when the criminal in the squad in wanted it he/she is APB.
And the cop will try to catch the criminal so if he's in the same squad as them, it'll be easier for the cop
