Title: VPN detection
Post by: miketoreno123 on 30 09, 2020, 06:12:03 pm
Hello, I have a problem and it is that I do not know the server detects me if I had a VPN and I do not use it, I have been playing for more than 6 months and I need help since they told me that it is the router but I cannot change the router since it is from my family lol and already many people know about the restriction and they always have to make fun of me as I can not move and shoot at the same time I wanted to ask if there is any solution other than changing the router as a white list or something thanks ;D

Are you completely sure that there isn't any VPN enabled in the background? Check the system tray, and uninstall any VPN(s) if you don't use them. Another possibility could be by the GeoIP provider, thinking you're using a VPN.

@Arran I assume the only real reason to fix this issue would be to add his IP onto the whitelist to bypass the VPN check.

Mr. Arran is that the problem is with the router is that if I can ask you the favor if you can add me to the VPN whitelist it is obvious that I do not use because my ping is good

Hidden IP address - Danzy

Do what he said, tell them that your IP on their service is falsely recognized as a VPN.

Hello, the problem is actually with the router, so I can't change it because I don't have money for a new internet and a new plan, so what do I do because I'm tired of the restriction, please

This ^

Meanwhile that is going on, try saving up for a new plan if possible, maybe a weaker one.

Look what happens is that in my town the internet service is very expensive and I cannot afford luxuries and I have to pay for my house and all that understands me, then is there no other solution?

Did you report the error to the mentioned website yet?

Yes SIR

All there is to do now is wait until they resolve the issue. Please keep us updated with their reply (on their website it says that it takes up to 48 hours).

Yes sir, I came to another house to my grandparents' to spend the holidays and they have internet, so I connected and it did not detect me any more VPN, I mean, if it is the router, the bad thing is that it will last a week and then I can move while I shoot but yes I go back to my house it will be sad because I will follow the same detection again

I want you to test it when you're at home, to see if they resolved the issue.

Thanks Mr. Extreme but you last a week at my grandparents' house if you can keep the topic for 1 week to notify me when I return home and put it on the topic

Check your email inbox, they should've left a reply.

Your CIT account email address has nothing to do with this, you should check the inbox of the email address that you entered in this contact form.

Also, for your own safety, request a change for your CIT account's email address in the Account Retrieval (https://cit.gg/index.php?board=459.0) subboard.

Hello, I do face the same problem as well with my weird routing connection I get detected as I use VPN.Pilovali provided me with a premium VPN server which solved my problem and I'm very glad he helped me.

I've also send an email explaining them the problem, so I can stop using VPN and use my internet connection, but they also never responded back after 72 hours almost now.Just notifying you since I am suffering with this restrictions for quite a while now if I don't use Pilovali's VPN.

I have not received any message in my mail :'(

@Arran it looks like the IPHub's support isn't responding at all. I propose the easiest solution would to add both players to the VPN check whitelist.

Any level 4+ can whitelist an IP using /whitelistip octect1.octect2.octect3 do not mention me again.

SID-Firebird|11[SAPD] > Me: Yeah it's fixed, thanks a lot :)

Firebird confirmed that the issue was fixed by whitelisting the IP.

@MikeToreno we've also whitelisted yours, once you get back home test it and possibly PM me if it still won't be fixed.
