sure they played GTA SA signal player so they know the map they can use it
How could you be so sure? I don't know neither SF nor LV well.
And let's say you have a blip on the map, you will have to keep looking in F11 to know if you're close or not.

It's easy, but I don't think anyone would use it on foot, as they don't really move that far without a vehicle.

You sure? what if maybe a guy landed somewhere , and tries to go to an hospital and marks it ;)?

I agree it would be awesome if players had it too.

You know it well, others don't. It wouldn't hurt having it.

I think CIT does need a GPS, especially for those who don't know their way around. +1

I guess the GPS feature would be alot useful for new players that recently started playing GTA:SA and don't fully know all town names. The problem i'm currently seeing is how can we sync the arrow to the road ways for the more helpful feature. Making a arrow point to where ever you clicked to, they could just keep following the arrow and end up in water or something.

I think its hard to be scripted. They just use their brain, they dont need 100% follow the arrow.

This is really needed for new players cause they don't know their way around the map so well.

They're not blind.

This script will get way more useful with Steve's idea.
To add pre-determined locations, or bookmarks, you can add more, and use the bookmarks with the gps.
