It had it's problems (mainly the severe lag of having 100 players crammed in one area) but time and time again the community have begged for it's return. So here it is...

I'm happy that it's back, like old times. But, I have a question. How will you lock the area?
I mean that LS docks an open area, how will you prevent it to be 50 vs. 50?

Well even though I don't know and haven't got to experience the situation of the old DS, I can see that almost several of the players in the server and infact the communities too are happy once it has return. From what I can say here is, thanks for the CIT developer for bringing back the DS and you've done a great job by making all the players felt happy from the return. Day to day CIT is becoming better with the updates. And that's good. It's like a major comeback.
Just want to say, keep up the good work, CIT developer.

Thank you very much Arran! DS was my the best bank Robbery in game. I really missed my old days! I was shocked when you said DS starts in 5 min. Today I had fun. Thank you very much again
Also about that lag.. From today nobody can complaint about lag.Most of old players which were in DS before, 95% of them wants DS back. But there will be players with "omg what a event! remove DS it is lag I cannot play I cannot kill and bla bla bla". If you don't love DS then don't go to DS.
At the first DS today there were over 80 players which means we love DS :)

IT was great to play it again with so many participants,
i have a question
Are we (cops and crims) will be able to kill Medics? - AFAIK we are allowed to kill, in Criminal Events, medics who support the opposite team.
Cops are not able to DMG Medics there, or am I totally wrong and does the script allows it already?

So sad I have some technical problems that can't let me play in the game.
I'm not a real old member in this server but what I hear so far from the people is that this DS rocks , glad to have it back.

Then my eyes tricked me D:, sorry about that. I thought some bars are thicker then others ( I thought maybe 200 hp and the others 100hp).
My mistake. That happeneds if you are sitting in a dark room in front of your PC and looking CIT vids.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; DS still the best crim event out here, glad to see it again
Amazing! This is my favorite adventure event series of all time.
And as I always say an epic conclusion to an epic trilogy.

Some bars look thicker because if a player has armor the outer layer of the bar is dark grey ranging to semi transparent black if they have none.

I am really glad to see that is back to game, it was the best criminal event and it is still like that.
Nowadays, criminals are more interested in DS and criminals are usually more than cops but it is balanced because cops can respawn again to kill them,well it is fair.
It will be nice to play DS.

Considering how much the server has developed ever since the DS was first removed. Also the fact that it managed to bear the load of what, 1200 people during the peak and how it handles the every day load of ever increasing new CIT players along with robberies, not to mention four different kinds, turfs, houses, jobs and what not. Plus DS being the hot favourite CnR event of the community, I don't think lag would be a problem ;).

epic cool update...but I noticed that we can't control the ship by entering the checkpoint markers and change them to criminals/laws side

It was removed because it was making a "huge-lag" in the server.

Well you cant rush like before, you walk slowly now and it lags a bit.

Well that's better than nothing! At least no rushing and less lagging now, would help alot for people with slow Internet too, thanks.

I started playing CIT late 2012 so I never did the DS
Still havent done it.. I heard there was a lot of comotion about the lag
This event brings with it.... I see q lot of happy messages now that its fixed and better then ever
I'll see it in a few hours. Who knows, might be my new addiction O0

Eh probably everyone or almost everyone happy for its return.It would be more nice for me If running wouldnt be disabled but otherwise it makes more lag.

It doesn't lag much because we can only walk slowly now, it would be better if there is something like a base for law side (Like criminal side have) so it would be a bit more balanced. :)

I have made a previous post in here saying "Welcome back DS" but I forgot to say "Welcome back lag" so taking the chance to say it now.
There is almost no lag (for me), because no one is rushing, how high is your ping and FPS there?

My ping is between 80-100 (I am not sure) and my FPS is stable at 60.
How can it lag there then if you got good ping and FPS?
If you still have lags, try to use a game booster. :)

Thats great to hear, looking forward into doing the event, before it was amazing, and sure it did have ups and downs, but as you said, many of us did want the return, so thank you for bringing it back!

haha, good old days... Used to just sit as a crim at the boat camping... was there for the drugs but now as a cop it is something that everyone will enjoy! Thanks!

If you still have lags, try to use a game booster. :)
With 150 or 200 players at Drug Shipment Game Booster won´t help you. Not every single player has powerful computers. The first time I went do DS my FPS decreased drastically to 12. Anyway if you have a good PC you can enjoy 100% DS :P

Yeah, Everyone loved DrugShipment.
Yes, Its caused/causing Lag and some criminals use to DM there as i've seen it also its hard to fix everything about DS. Sprinting gets disabled in random place while in DS area but, Everyone love DS so lets thank Arran for this awesome update.

well, yesterday I didn't see any lag and I wasn't lagging maybe there were only some laggers which it was hard to kill them. in other side, it was really cool, maybe it has some bugs (like not getting drugs when killing someone), but we had fun in it.

Ty Arran Very Much But I Have Qustion Why Cops When Kill Crimnal Not Get Drugs ?
The CIT Developers removed the drugs given for cops when killing the criminal as the cops get a huge amount of payments for money. To make it even fair for the crims as they get $4k money only and drugs, they disabled it. Cops could make $10k+ each kills there.
And, there's an update refering to it too.

Yeah, I love this Crime event :3, I always go to it as a Criminal, Because as cop it is very hard, because It's not easy make kills with the Fps in 10 e.e

well went to DS today for first time in my life in CIT but as a medic awesome event players coming from both the side killing each other but it was best for me able to heal both the teams really awesome and one of the best CnR really can be counted after BR ty arran.

There is a lot of lag in DS area because there are 50+ players crammed in one area.
And this makes a huge lag.
Anyway, It is just awesome to see DS back!

I don't really attend these kind of events much, but I can see that cops are totally annoyed about their payment. Thus, they don't event bother to go to DS, therefore the criminals are way more than cops. I mean, 100 criminals against 40-50 cops is way unfair towards the cops. In my opinion, the payment should be restored so cops are motivated to go to DS again.

really I like this idea but I had lag in DS I can't fight FPS 10 that's the problem
