Server Development Public Relaunch

The server development board was made JCM+ (Junior Community Member) only, as there were so many suggestions and so many useless posts about how people like an idea but had nothing to contribute to that idea.

This restriction caused a lot of people to lose their voice in the server, some people who may be able to contribute excellent ideas but didn't have JCM+ to do so. It also caused a bias in suggestions as it meant that only regular players (that had JCM+) got what they wanted and not what newer players might want. The system that we use for giving out JCM (I manually give it to people) is also prone to major bias meaning that there are people who may have 1000 hour play time but won't have JCM whereas somebody with 100 hours might get it.

If CIT is to develop in the right direction, we need every bodies input. Posts you make in the board will not be counted in your post count and anybody who makes useless posts like "good idea +1" will have the post deleted and receive a +25 forum warning.

That means usual players like me can go passed Server Development ?

But how about if a player do +1 good idea but which long usefull sentences about it ?

Example as above : This is absolutely a nice idea. It should not ruined the community. But it should be replace it with marker Y to X. And change the location abit . +1 from me .

Of course you can post that, but it should spread that like you did.. So you can post post with +1 but not only with that

If I got it right the non-CM members can only post or make a topic too ?
If I got it right posts to the topic wont count to postcount ?

That is good cuz now some non JCM can show what they really know.good job like always.

You can say "+1 good idea" as long as you then have something useful to add to the topic for example:

"+1 good idea, we could do this differently because of this and that and that and so and and so on"

Not acceptable example:

"-1 stupid idea, you can already do this that way"

It's not acceptable because although you said something, you're not contributing towards the topic as other people can down rate it without reading your post.

Well, I do not want to praise myself, but it helps me a lot, I already gave good suggestions to the server, but now I was unable to do that, thanks for the update, will help me a lot.
Now I'll work to get a JCM only to delete my own posts.

I totally support this move, I've got many different suggestions to post. Being unable to spread out my ideas can be like a cage.

Well thats really a good news and good update and yes there are alot of people who had 1000+ hours but didn't got even JCM and they was not able to suggest any idea and now there is no need for them to send PMs to JCM+ that they have an idea and they are not JCM.

Nice to see that Non-community members now can post/suggest in server development board.Some non-Community members have great ideas but they don't know how to reveal it.

Sorry to say that won't it be hard for Admins to check that which Suggestion is good and Which is not?

Because within sometime the first page is filled with non community members and the old Suggestions with +20 votes are at the 3rd page.

Just asking because there are alot of suggestions now.
