Hi there :wat:, I don't know if someone can help me, somehow I can't play CIT anymore bcs, well, my ping in MTA and only in MTA, it's fucked up. Like +150 and it's suppose to be like 50-60 (Portugal). Never happened before.
Also I get some hard fps drop from 144 to 30 or less just by WALKING :kek5: in a desert zone away from players and shits. Note: It can't be some hardware problem cus well I was playing fiveM in a server with more than 500 players with good fps, CS GO runs perfectly too, so yea. Second note: I tried the nightly version and the normal version and it happen with both.

You might as well set your MTA settings and CIT settings to low as GTA sa can't really handle 144 fps. So, you must try to set everything to low to avoid these problems.
Head to /settings (in-game) then scroll down till you see "Shader Graphics" set Good textures, Car reflection shader, and detail shader to 145. Press F8 > type fps_limit=0.

There are also FPS solutions there so if you want to really fix these problems you may try every solution there is from there. Goodluck!

Yea, I did some changes in settings and now it looks fine about FPS. But the high ping still boring me. I'll try to restart the router to see if something changes. But it's weird cus this problem it's only on MTA. Gonna test in a different server too, but yea, thanks for the help.

When in game, open your /shownetstat and check if you have any packet loss. Sometimes your ping can fluctuate or rise if you have that.

Okay so the problem might be "routing". It is a path your data bytes take in a network to reach the server. Your ISP's routing has issues which causes high ping to different servers based on their routing paths.
Nothing you can do except trying to restart router to reset the routing tables. (Very rare chance to work)

Well, thanks for the help anyways. I'm using the program "cloudflare warp" that change constantly my DNS I guess, and it's working so my ping it's on 60's again.

Yeah its a VPN, it just changes your ping server to that particular location before pinging CIT server. The routing changes in that process. Good to know it helps!
