Jumping issue

For some reason , I can only jump while walking and I cannot jump while running like everyone does. and this has been annoying me lately so I need solution.

solutions I have tried:

- Reconnecting
- Load default binds and reconnecting
-change walking style to run with most weapons or parkour
- try to run and jump without holding any weapon

Have you tried launching original game (GTA:SA) to see if the problem was there aswell?

Since you can only jump when you are walking and not sprinting, I think that you’re experiencing n-key rollover. When you are walking and jumping, you are pressing only 2 keys simultaneously. Once you sprint and jump, you’re pressing 3 keys at the same time. This usually occurs on cheap keyboards, so my question is did this combination work before and/or have you bought a new keyboard?

I play on a laptop and this used to work BEFORE my laptop keyboard got messed up , now after i've got a new keyboard it isnt working so maybe you're right.

I don’t think the new keyboard is able to work properly with more than 2 keys pressed at the same time. Therefore, the only real solution would be to buy a better keyboard, or try fixing the laptop’s one.
