To verify the calculation of a level system, you gotta do the following equation.
Progress needed for L10 divided by progress per hour = hours it would take you. If this is the same as all the levels summed up, then the system is correctly calculated.

Fire fighter calculations.
52,500 / 520 = 100,9615384615385 (I typed 100, so it’s correct, decimal number showing up are due to other decimals summing up in the calculations)
51,000 / 500 = 102 (I typed 102)

Waste Manager calculations.
112,000 / 1400 = 80 hours (I typed 79,7, so it’s correct, decimals number showing up are due to other decimals summing up in the calculations)
114,800 / 1400 = 82 hours (I typed 82)

Taxi Driver calculations
21,000,000 / 210,000 = 100 hours (I typed 99,5, so it’s correct, decimal number showing up are due to other decimals summing up in the calculations)
18,900,000 / 210,000 = 90 hours (I typed 90)

Trucker calculations.
4200 / 150 = 28 hours (I typed 28)
5025 / 150 = 33,5 hours (I typed 33,5)

Delivery man calculations.
4500 / 110 = 40,9 periodic (I typed 41)
4785 / 110 = 43,5 (I typed 43,5)

Hunter calculations.
91,000 / 1000 = 91 (I typed 91)
88,000 / 1000 = 88 (I typed 88)

Pilot calculations
6600 / 190 = 34,73 (I typed 34,7)
7250 / 190 = 38,15 (I typed 38,11) Problem with the 3rd decimal, the numbers are complicated.

Pizza Boy calculations
2700 / 70 = 38,57 (I typed 38) Problem with the 3rd decimal of 270/70 which then summed up gives a number a bit higher than 38
2800 / 70 = 40 (I typed 40)

Farmer calculations
70,000 / 1000 = 70 (I typed 70)
66,500 / 1000 = 66,5 (I typed 66,5)

Fuel Transporter calculations
616,000 / 9000 = 68,44 (I typed 68,33)
558,000 / 9000 = 62 (I typed 62)

DISCLAIMER: This topic, will, from now on, contain all the jobs together as I noticed that it will be largely inefficient for people to vote on each job individually.

Hello, since I came back active, I noticed that most of the jobs are unbalanced on the bottom levels, which should be easy to achieve for new players, but instead, are hard and just have similar progress difference to the higher levels. For example, on fire fighter to level up from L3 to L4 you need 5250 fires of progress(10 hours of work), and meanwhile, from L8 to L9 you need 6000 fires of progress (11,5 hours of work), this is ridiculous as the lower levels should be easier than the higher levels and should take way less effort, this is the case for the large majority of the jobs, and what my suggestion is centered on.

My suggestion, due to this fact, is focused on changing the requirements for the lower levels based on the hours it would take you to achieve them, but leaving the higher levels requirements hard, as they should be. The reasons are various, but the main ones are that it just doesn't make sense for you to work almost the same to level up from L3 to L4 than L8 to L9, and that newbies just won't be attracted to a job in which they would have to start from zero with such harsh requirements.

Explanations above are summarized to avoid people having to read text walls, but reasons are more, for example, the 0 support the last change had from the civilian side, apart from the fact that the person who suggested the changes also said that  balancing of the Jobs payment would follow up but he never did that, the impact on newbies and experienced players on their levels, and more.

EXTRA NOTE: If a player already reached L10 and the requirements are increased, don’t allow them to have the achievement again, (leave it as it is).

EXTRA NOTE: The type of calculation I’m using to calculate each level is the following; For example if it takes you 1 hour to reach L1 which requires 100 of x progress, if reaching L2 requires you 300 of x progress, and you can make 100 of x progress per hour, I’ll type the following. L1 – 100 – (1 hour) L2 – 300 – 2 (hours) meaning that I count the progress you already have. (300 – 100) is 200, so then 2 hours from L1 to L2.

Related to this, you'll also notice that some of the L10s are increased or decreased, that goes by the hand of modifying the lower levels, as if they're done easier, although the higher levels will be higher, due to the decrease of the lower levels, the overall requirement is either lowered or made bigger.

EXTRA NOTE: Some jobs are not listed here, either cause they haven't been finished or because it's not possible to accurately calculate their hourly progress such as news reporter job.

I'm going to order each job part in a 28pt size, with it's required information below so it's clear.
Fire Fighter

My calculations in a non-stop working hour of Fire Fighter were the following.

Level 4 Fire Fighter

This one is quite controversial, to be honest, the requirements on the last system by noD3 are just ridiculous, however, the way to balance it would be for a huge increase, and they been like this forever so I'll just leave this one up for discussion.

Farmer

Trapsfall's calculations in a non-stop working hour of Farmer were the following.

Level 10 farmer
Planting+Growing time+Collecting bails with jetpack= 5 minutes 40 seconds, meaning you will be able to do this process 11 times in an hour, however, I rounded it up to 10 times an hour.
That grants you 2.200 wheat/1.000 hemp/1.000 herbs per 100 seed

10,000 herbs at 40$ = 400k $
10,000 hemp at 40$ = 400k $
22,000 wheat at 12$ = 264k $
This all meaning in an hour rounded up you'll get 1000 bails of progress and profit of 400k with herbs and hemp and 264k with wheat, now, using these calculations, I'm going to put below the spoilers remarking how many hours it will take you to reach each level counting the progress you already have with the CURRENT requirements.

Post by: SugarRush on 21 09, 2019, 04:17:14 am
I am with you with these new requirements that has been decreased on this one, it is easier for some people to level their job's requirement especially the hardest job(s) to level up. Pretty sure this will be helpful and hoping this won't be change again or else another mess up like the last updates of Civilian Job was that intentionally destroying the side of Civilian. However, I am voting positive with this one, as I find it pleasing and motivating the other Civilian to level up their lowest Level and the Hardest Jobs.

This is like from Online Game where the starter player(s) able to level up fast to a certain level and it gets harder as you strive hard to reach at the top.

Lol, I just checked the current job progress from your spoilers and found it so unbalanced, 4,1 hours to level up in every level in Delivery man, I don't know how they accepted this progress, you as an expert civilian, you balanced the jobs, and yes I read it all, I already voted for Fire Fighter and Waste Manager afaik, and I 100% agree with the other ones since you made them balanced, it should be like that, it'll be harder when you level up.

I just wanted to thank you so much for playing for hours and hours to collect these progress. :)

Just like what I said on the other topic about this:

:tick:
I like your system a lot better other than how it looks now. Mainly why because I believe that the whole leveling system should be exponential (like its really easy to level up in the begging, but the more you level up, the harder it is) instead of it being fixed. Hell, even most games even use that type of thing, like Dead Rising as an example. And it makes no sense of it being hard to level up at a low level which you barely get shit on.

But anyway, you've got very good points and very nice statistics on these jobs. I am so amazed about the thing you did to improve these jobs.
I really with these could be fixed or amended and make civilian jobs more fun and more competitive.

I always saw my friend reaching the earn limit every hour as a Delivery Man and he level up very fast. As a Taxi Driver like me, it is so difficult to reach the earn limit and I need way more time to level up because Taxi Driver's job progress related to the earnings instead of the number of passenger. It's very painful if you want to reach L10 because it's very unbalance.

I am totally fine with those modifications you provided.

I am even willing to work more if the current system will be built up like a typical 'online levelling system'.

Supporting.  :tick:

Edit: Needless to say, the current system affects negatively to those who apply for SO duty. It is a fact that L10 requires less time to reach but levels you go through until you reach the maximum are pretty tough.

There was a bug before that got reported about Fire Fighter job, not receiving the promotion bonus. I had to test it myself so I used my 2nd account which I use to test things that I cannot do in my main account. But when I checked the requirement for the next level, I was shocked and decided not to bother myself and just leave it to other players to confirm the bug, due to the fact that the current requirements for the next level is just too much knowing those are the lowest level of a job.
Quote
L0 - Training - $180 per fire - 0 Fires
L1 - Junior Firefighter - $216 per fire - 2,250 Fires
Jobs shouldn't be this hard especially from lower levels, to encourage players to keep working for the job and achieve even more when reaching the higher levels, requirements should be easier at first then increasing per level till it reaches the higher levels where the requirements should be higher.

To be honest, most of the jobs are complicated and very hard to be L10 you need to plan for your future about that actually but let us be real. The BD job, FT and TD are too hard to be L10, when I say hard it's very hard. So I want to show my point that, I don't have to edit on your suggestion about the progress because it's perfect. I would like to support your suggestion  :tick:

Really good idea. People no longer prefer civilian life because jobs are very difficult to move forward. Difficult jobs reduce the chances of civilian groups being preferred. Somebody should definitely stop it.

I am L10 Iron Man in my opinion it gives less Iron for L10 also Lumberjack gives 14.5 Hemp 14.5 Herbs. I think it will be better for newbies because of cars are expensive in carshops and when a newbie can't earn money it makes him/her psychological problem  and he is going to left from server to find a other one.  If earn money will be easy for them they will stay in server and we can get more players in our server. So my opinion is   :tick:Positive

I worked on this weeks ago but after realising the gap between the highest modified low level and the next up would be bigger than the next levels above and that each higher level then needs modifying so they scale up evenly to reach L10 which is unchanged would take some time so I've sent the tables to Rami so he can update them and get back to me so I can update the tables on server.
