So currently to cancel crafting armor you gotta press SHIFT which makes you jump at the same time which is really annoying since the only reason you would cancel crafting is when you want to run away and jumping in a random direction doesn't help. so my suggestion is disabling jumping when you press shift to cancel crafting.

And how should we change it ? , pressing another key or what ? or removing the cancel from crafting armor permanently ? can you introduce your idea more please ?

Actually his suggestion was pretty clear and included those questions. The key to cancel it would remain the jump button. Pressing it once will only cancel the crafting process without jumping and then pressing it again will make you jump.
Sounds good enough to me since jumping in a random direction could get you in trouble sometimes. This way the key will not change so players will not have to get used to something new. :tick:

no, simply making it so that pressing shift would just cancel the crafting and not jump, its very simple.

Anyway,this idea would be great we can die cuz of this jump when we decide to cancel the armor crafting because the jumping emote take a little bit of time,your enemy can kill you when you waste this little secs Positive.

I was gonna say the same thing that Lucifer mentioned above. I’ve done this many time in CEs and yea pretty much you crouch to prevent you from jumping while you pressing SHIFT. Gonna be neutral for now.

To be honest when u are on the middle of the fight and u found cover to craft an armor I don't think u'll always remember to Crouch before crafting it so disabling it should be the greatest solution here up voting :tick:

It's so annoying to jump when I only want to cancel the armor as in most situations we cancel the armor to fight back not to jump.

You can avoid that by crafting while crouching but am postive cause it is annoying :tick:

I don't really have a problem with adding this but im really between the (Negative and Natural), as Sirat said you can just press C before you make armor so when you press shift your player will get up instead of jumping, also because we gonna lose that chance to get our enemy since he can just cancel his armor crafting instantly instead of him get the jump animation and kinda deprive me of getting the kill.
bruh the jumping when canceling is probably not even intended 💀 u aren't supposed to die just cus u forgot to crouch before crafting

It would be a good tweak, because say if you are in an AR or CE and if you want to quickly cancel the crafting process, you should be able to simply do it without jumping and becoming an even easier target.

Simple solution to this would be that jumping is temporary disabled for few seconds while crafting Armor, it would resolve the issue without having to do much work, just temporary disable jumping while crafting Armor, it should resolve this issue, Personally I don't like the suggestion, I suggested a better alternative. You can just crouch while crafting Armor to protect yourself. Negative

I use spacebar for jump and the armor cancel thing is linked to jump and not the key

CEMs can disable jumping in events so im assuming that this is possible

If pressing jump button (space mine) will still cancel crafting without the need of jumping then sure, better, indeed.

It's really annoying being stuck while u craft ur armor while someone else damaged u , u will be killed cuz this abuse , so it's really a nice idea jumping to cancel it :tick:

- Cancelling putting on armor will no longer make you jump as long as you release the jump key. (Arran + Crash28)
