Title: Adding City Engineer markers in LS Mall and Employment Office
Post by: Babushka on 11 08, 2021, 09:21:00 am: Hello, Since most of you know, City Engineer has become the most played job nowadays. The problem is, most new players find trouble finding the Job Location as it is located neither in LS Mall nor Employment Office.
We must acknowledge the fact that this job is located pretty far and is only available in SF

. We have a command named "/jobs" which teleports newbies to the Employment Office but those players can't find City Engineer at that location.

So I am suggesting adding a teleport marker for City Engineer in LS Mall and Employment Office both. If my suggestion is added, players would be able to warp to the City Engineer job location from LS Mall or Employment Office and thus more players would be introduced to this job.

I have also proposed the spots to add the markers.

I don't think anyone would have objections with my suggestion but make sure to reply if there are any.

Post by: Myth. on 11 08, 2021, 05:01:43 pm: Indeed, this feature will help new/old players, so they can use the teleport thing to Employment Office and why not to add the job in LS Mall as "Juagar" said and ofc to add few tasks in LS to make it easier instead of taking the job from LS and then you head to SF. After all, we usually try to find easy ways to help everyone not only newbies.

This would be very beneficial to new players. Whenever someone asks where to acquire the job, we're always telling them to use /gps, but I know that can be a bit complicated when you're not used to MTA's panels, or you don't know enough English to make your search. I've even taken new players to the job location, and they've asked why it wasn't on /jobs. So adding it to these two locations would definitely solve this issue.

But as far as I remember, Arran already added it to SF employment office in dev server, so Arran has to add it here in main as well ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)

Most of the players treats this job as a perfect and a good profitable job. So, I'm voting positive on this suggestion as it gives more idea for players on how many jobs are there specially for new players. :tick:

Before it was added even before testing it, they added the marker in Employment Office and it got deleted afterwards for some reason

So this'll help them get there quickly.

A lot of players are interested in playing, which is something quite good. However, as you said, it's only available in San Fierro, which makes it hard for some people to go there and take it. Moreover, next to these points I've already mentioned, it surely needs to be added to the Los Santos Mall and Employment Office that can be found in San Fierro because it's a job and all jobs are already there, so yeah, this one also needs to be added there.
