60 meat feels like a lot for a single sale. at the going rate of $50 per meat that's 3k worth of meat for a single sale. Could you please clarify if you would also be modifying the amount of other ingredients that are used? With the current system with this put on top of it then it would cost the seller something like 5-6k worth of resources to sell food to someone so they would be making a significant loss carrying out this activity. I will suspend my voting judgement until you have clarified exactly how this would work.
I make it 50 - 60 meats depends on level because of the average price of its.50 wheats * 70 (average price) = 3,500$60 meats * 48 (average price) = 2,880$As you can see, it's stable and the meat would increase the average price so maybe they would have the same average price when this got added.
I still don't feel you answered my question. To put it as bluntly as possible.. are you suggesting that meat is consumed instead of other resources or in addition to other resources? If it is in addition to it then you need to modify the price at which food is bought otherwise people would lose money.
What about making wheat and meat be consumed together? Say a meal right now is 30 wheat, we make it so it consumes 15 wheat and 15 meat to sell that meal?
or there could be an option where you mix 2 resources if you want that, but the total value should be $1000 ($500 wheat and $500 meat of value), that way it'll use both resources and cost a fair price for sellers so they can make a profit, hope my idea is good and made sense.
