SuperSonic:
Testing Modded Skins Inside MTA

Programs needed for this to work:

* Notepad / Code Editor
* Txd Workshop https://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=8320
* MTA:SA
Follow the steps below, and I will explain how to do it in detail.

Step 1: Download the resource file from this link:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16_b1hxP7mVze74jPMNLSo7S6DSzLchIC?usp=sharing

Step 2: Place the file in the right location.

Place this file in your resources section, C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch\resources

Step 3: Change your Folder name

Change your File Name from "SkinX" to "SkinID", for Ex. "Skin11", "Skin234"

Step 4: Replacing DFF & TXD files

Replace "YourSkinTXD-File.txd" and "YourSkinDFF-File.dff"  with your skin's TXD and DFF. You can find both these files here under the "Modded Skins Table", https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=113497.0

Step 5: Renaming DFF & TXD files in Client.lua

Open "Client.lua" with notepad, and Change "YourSkinTXD-File.txd" to whatever your TXD file is called, for example. "s11.txd", "s234.txd"
Now do the same thing with "YourSkinDFF-File.dff" Change it to whatever your DFF file is called, for example. "s11.dff", "s234.dff".
Save your File and close it.

Step 6: Renaming DFF & TXD Files in "meta.xml"

Open "meta.xml" with notepad, and Change "YourSkinTXD-File.txd" to whatever your TXD file is called, for example. "s11.txd", "s234.txd"
Now do the same thing with "YourSkinDFF-File.dff" and change it to whatever your DFF file is called, for example. "s11.dff", "s234.dff".
Save your File and close it.

Step 7: Adding your Custom skin by TXD workshop

Open TXD workshop > Click on Open TXD > Find your "SkinX" Folder > Open the TXD file > and import your own PNG there > Click on Save

Step 8: Testing the skin in-game

Open MTA > Open Map Editor > Click on F > Find the Test Button in the toolbar above and open it > Click on Full Test > Click on F1 > Click on Skin > Change the "0" to "261" > then type T/start SkinX (replace SkinX with your Filename)

To retest, you don't have to restart MTA, do /stop SkinX, then edit your txd file from TXD workshop, then type /start SkinX
