Title explains this partially:
I encountered some difficulties in finding coordinates of ME mapped objects. Luckily I've been helped by Cheeze who opened database to find the only object I mapped with the specific ID. It could help us knowing the exact xyz + rotations of mapped objects.
I make an example: we mapped new sea turfs, but since they're mapped objects, they are loaded only when you're near them. It could be usefull to add LODs to them, so players can find islands easily without always opening F1 and zooming in/out trying to find themselves in map. The only problem is that we don't know exact coordinates, so it's nearly impossible to put LODs.
In my opinion (I'm not acting like I know everything) there are 2 ways to output coordinates of mapped objects:
- Add a command like /megetpos: this command will output a line in your chabox showing (object ID, x, y, z, rot x, rot y, rot z) once you selected the object;
- Add an output in mapeditor logs, but it'll flood logs folder and it'll require logs access to find your objects, also it will require more time to find the desired object.
