How to make a useful, detailed and valuable post at major boards.

(1/5) > >>

Rami:
I am creating this guide as I have seen many people struggling to make useful posts, and then getting warned for that, I would like to say that this is my way of creating posts but asI have never been warned since I followed these tips, I am sure that this will be useful for you, I am also going to divide the guide into the major boards as you have to make a different kind of posts in each one. Also, this is just a guide to reply, not to make suggestions, for that guide click Here.
Feel free to recommend me to add anything that will improve this topic, from now on, thanks.

Discussion (Development Discussion)First Paragraph

Opinion: This is the first part you have to do while creating a post on this board, your opinion must be based mainly in your own experience playing at the server, and how this suggestion would affect you, try to put valid reasons there, not just say "I am negative cus it will affect gameplay" try to develop your opinion, include also the experience that other players may have with the suggestion if its implemented, for example if there is a suggestion about changing all GUIs to commands you may need to say that newbies will be affected from this as they won't know any of the commands.
I usually write around 3 lines stating my opinion, although 2 should be enough AND you can, of course, write more.
Second Paragraph

Further development to suggestion: This is mainly the part that almost all players don't do, but it is more likely the most important one, at this part of your reply you must try to improve the suggestion, my recommendations are reading multiple times the suggestion you are replying on, and try to find missing points or things that have to be taken on the count.
When you find something you would like to add to the main suggestion, develop it, try to explain why it needs to be added, how can it be added, and summarizing, make a suggestion inside other suggestion.
I usually write around 3 lines developing another people suggestion, but if you want to improve it more, you can of course write more, but I surely don't recommend writing less than 3 lines.
DebateFirst Paragraph
Opinion:This is very similar to what you have to do in the development board, see the question that has been asked to debate, explain your personal opinion, and experience it, try to think and feel like what other people would feel to, imagine that for example, we are debating about that if money buys everything, try to think like someone poor and how he will answer if they asked him that question, then try to feel like someone rich that has been asked if money buys everything, see different points of view.
I would recommend you to write around 4 lines as an opinion if the question is simple, then you can write less, about writing more, you can, but avoid starting to talk about things you don't know or you can't know.
Second Paragraph
Basements of your opinion and studied facts: Here in this paragraph you can include the basements of your opinion, an example may be scientific research determining that people that are rich, don't feel totally attracted to money so your opinion above may be affected by that.
More to come.
