Title: [+++] Adding CITNews app in CITphone
Post by: Legcy on 27 07, 2021, 03:21:40 pm: Making app for CIT News Magazine in CIT Phone since /magazine is forgotten also the app will help the new members who don't have forum account to check the magazine easily. Most of the newbies don't know /magazine but when they open the CITphone which is often used then they will see the app. The app doesn't require any new scripts, it just works the same way as /magazine. CITInstagram and CITRadio have applications, so why not CITNews? Overall it's a good and an easy-to-add addition that will help newbies and brings more views and attention to CITNews publications. It's both good for the project and newbies and anyone who wants to know the latest news of the server.

We hope he will not revert any feature, also @Legcy did you talk with the CIT News Leader about this suggestion.

We support it, as long as it's a really good feature and doesn't need much of a work. The suggestion explains that its basically /magazine. People might forget the command but they don't forget CITphone so whenever they open the CITphone they'll always see the app. It's a great addition

This'll add a new feature to CITphone and this will also help the beginners to know the server news easily. also, as some of the members mentioned above, /magazine has become forgotten by most of the members in CIT.

Publishers have always worked professionally and seriously, just so our Community's members have a whole idea about what's happening on our server. Giving more people, especially those who're not familiar with the forum, the ability to post their opinions to make the project better, next to their lovely posts that keep us, publishers, working for something almost everyone is in love with, is an awesome thing to do. I'm totally positive.

CIT Instagram, which is an in game community project, has an icon on the CITPhone for players to click on it which opens the browser redirecting to the site. Being another such well established project, like CITNews, deserves an app/icon on the phone for players to click on it and be redirected to the latest publish.

Also, most people wouldn't know the /magazine command's existence unless they are told so. This should make people easy to access it as well. Giving this a positive :tick: vote for those reasons, thank you and good luck!

CITNews is a really awesome thing that the community likes because of it's content and good design, alot of the community members check it weekly to know what's new and what they didn't notice and all the positive & encouraging comments posted under every publication shows it. As we know not all CIT players have a forum account and the newbies who have are not familiar with every board/topic/thing in it, so this will act as a shortcut for them.

Lets be honest , the newbies wont care about the login screen button other than clicking "join" so fast to get into the server , and I feel like 10 % or even less people in CIT even noticed the CIT News button in the login screen .

Anyways I see this suggestion so helpful and even way more comfortable , cause as example if you are going afk or you were inactive and wants to see what happened before, you can always just go to your CIT phone and check the new updates and stuff that happened just by a click on CIT news on the phone beside CIT insta , and btw you can use this logo if you wants to put it on the CIT phone

As we know, there are a lot of apps and probably we will start using the phone much more if we get more suggestions from this type.

It's very important to know the server news like if someone got a new rank or if an event is going to be hosted. I really think adding CITNews app in CITphone will be more than reasonable and nice for all the players. It would make it pretty easier to check the news instead of having to go to CIT News board and visiting the Publication topic and looking on the news when you can just add this and all you have to do is press two keys, B to open your CITphone and Left mouse click on the icon so you can have access to all the new and exclusive CIT news as fast as possible instead of wasting your time on an unnecessary visit to the forum. Upvoting.
