Because my suggestion (https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=396901.0) was supported by most of the active members from community but unfortunately it was locked just because title because I don't know what title to set for one update which he didn't changed anything, I re-suggest similar thing here but with a proper title (I hope).
Few months ago (in august), this update it was added but didn't changed nothing:
Saturday 19th August 2023
- Due to certain players hoarding a ridiculous amount of houses, those who own more than the max (5) house slots will no longer have those count towards their limit and will therefore be charged when online until they reduce their amount of houses for sale. (Arran + Metall)
We see the problem still persist, so the problem is that: the players which they must pay these tons of houses they remain offline most of time, and they came back after 13 days because they don't want to lose their houses, so they came online for few secounds and after that they trick this update remain offline.
My suggestion is to set this if you are going offline like if they are online. To make that update to works fine, we need to make it offline/online and after that we will see some changes. If not, the players with tons of houses will remain all time offline because if they are online they will pay tons of cash
The actual situation are making these with tons of houses to go offline all time, just to keep blocked the market and new players and many others which are active everyday, they never have any small chance to find something. And owners with tons of houses, are just trick the system to remain offline just for don't pay any extra taxe.

There are alot of nerfed/suggestions on houses lately, that's why houses became useless nowadays. What if the person is totally busy irl? What if the person doesn't own pc? what if the player only playing on net cafes? :fp: NEUTRAL

Sure not an issue, this update could be implemented for the next time someone logs in and refuses to sell his houses, so if he could magically login in the 13th day to save sell his houses, he isn't charged alot.

stop bringing constant updates to house issues anymore, Because we don't want to be ONLINE for a reason, And these updates bring other issues about it like you have to be charged to keep again the 5 houses or 10 - 20, the problem was enough that we had to be charged for being online then changed to offline???. What is your purpose and the problems with it? A system that has been added before is now changed even more?. I don't see any benefit in having to pay all the fees charged. There is no value in buying a house now, you should know that most house buyers have paid a huge amount of money to own it :fp: Negative :cros:

It's not only about five houses because DL3 players can own 10 houses in total so I prefer if players offline even they are not DL3 they can be charged if they have 10 houses+ not 5 houses+ that's a offline system it gonna cost a fortune let's be logical but I upvote :tick:

Yes what he means is those who own more than 5 house slots should be charged when offline. So for DL3 that is still 5 + 5.

I assumed that this function already existed because a lot of players were exploiting it by going offline for 13 days, as Driver indicated, and then joining before the 14-day mark. I hope Arran would take that advice and put an end to the misuse from individuals who are inactive yet have an uncountable number of houses. :tick: :tick: :tick: :tick:

I think you should make it abundantly clear that you mean 5 house slots, and not simply owning more than 5 houses.
Edit: as the title was changed to clear up ambiguity, I vote positive :tick:.

I don't know what are you waiting to put a limit for those overly ambitious homeowners with more than 10 houses, Some of them even seem to have their own mini-cities beyond the borders of Los Santos. Positive

You know the limit of houses you can own and instead you proceeded and bought more houses than the limit. No one forced these house buyers to pay a huge amount of money. It’s their fault from the first place. Btw, if you don’t wanna be online for a reason then why give a shit if you get charged or not? Just simply login and put your house for $1 and move on. Shouldn’t be that hard.

House hoarding issue is pretty big one. Some players don't even have a house while others have 10 houses. Not fair at all. It's about time we, community are taking measures about this problem. My vote is :tick:

This suggestion is actually good and I hope it does not get locked just because of the huge amount of malicious downvotes coming from one specific group of players - which shows how big the problem is.

All those negative votes prove that there are many house hoarders and that this house hoarding is a very big issue. I hope this suggestion will get implemented ingame as soon as possible to fix this whole mess. Before this update takes effect house owners should be given the time and the option to sell their properties, though. That would be fair. All things considered my vote is :tick:

Seems like a rather effortless suggestion, why would you want to add a restriction for certain players who bought a lot of slots for a lot of money..? Nope.

It's hilarious to see players in favor of punishing those players that had to donate to the server (which is the source that keeps the server running) to be able to buy so many houses which was possible and perfectly fine back then. The server owner would likely pass this suggestion but I doubt would even consider refunding those donations, lol, as the houses were the reason to donate for, at least in my case.

a see alot of downvote on the sugg if we gonna be honest houses become more useless by time like iam still trying to sell my houses and its painful so it could be good yea to charge then when they are afk :tick:

If like you say they only play for a bit then pointless taking money from their account as they can just have no money it wouldn't matter if they don't even play so the houses need to be put up for sale eventually:
- These accounts (and how many houses) are affected: blackthunder221 (17), ABADY.511 (36), Cuhung123 (121), HipHop (27), kidnguyen98 (15), osman40 (12)
- Those who still own too many (over 10) houses will now have their houses set for sale and the price will decrease like an inactive account. (Arran + IDriver)
