Double Posting

Double posting only need restrictions when it´s made by a mistake for example set a cookie for about 30-60 seconds that prevent the user from posting again until the cookie is expired, some people here already mentioned the reasons why someone would double post in some cases and that should also require some modifications to the text itself mabye.

However if both posts ends up in the same topic there is already a delete button and that might be useful in more cases than just double posting. How about a delete button on the first post as well that can remove the entire topic and allow users to clean up their own double posts or other failed posts or topics instead of waiting for a moderator and possibly get warned for it.

About delete button it's only for RCM+ , so in regular topics there is no way to remove double posting and that only happens it a moderator checks the topics and often they dosent.

I know that, that's why I suggesting an improvement for the delete button as well, I mean double posting isn´t the most usual way to do a "failpost" and if there was a delete button for everyone and all of our posts then we could take care of our own fail posts and double posts without waiting for a moderator, just as an example.

Im not gonna say "+1" due to the fact it's noobish and everyone would think Im Post Whoring.
But IMO this is the one of the best suggestion yet. It's for the greater good for the forum to prevent spam and noob replies.

Guys just add it on boards as in game features or counted one.
Each group have the ability to double post as much as he want in his board as sometime group staffs use it to notify their members about something

If this is add it to hole server I ll no if to some part of it I have no problem

well, I agreed your idea, but we may make it :

Warining you cant double post, this will result for a forum warining 20% (can be changed just for example)

so if the player posted again, it'll result for  a forum warining level.

This is a nice idea, this would prevent spammers in some topics.

But what happens with the training reports topic, in FBI for example there are some people that make 1 training and then another one.

Im downvoting for 1 reason
go check other groups home page or etc other topic
they have locked the topic and make like first post information
second post duty roster
etc etc and only one player who posts it
specially for the groups who don't have sub boards
they need to make first post app center
second post roster
thired suggestions and complaints
etc etc

Hello Community , I found an easy way to prevents rule breaking & Spamming on forum
For those who double / Triple post on forum , why don't we just invent a way to stop them ? how?

* Error message appeared to HaNiFaRpS saying : Sorry ! but you're not allowed to double post , please modify  your first post or wait until someone post ! *

This can prevent the community players to make double post. I like check some boards, and I had been some players double posting, and in their second post, they says "Fail, remove it"..

and I like this SMF Mod (Auto Merge Double Post) "http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1523"

This could help to those players who accidentally make double post..
