What is Mechanic Job?
A Mechanic makes money by repairing the vehicles of players. To repair a vehicle, stand as close as you can, press ‘x’, select the vehicle followed by ‘Repair Vehicle’. The owner of the vehicle will then be notified and given the opportunity to accept or reject your services.When a mechanic repairs a vehicle they have a 20% chance of finding 15 engine parts.
The role of a Mechanic may be taken up in three cities and addition of one new city;
- Near the 'Pay and Spray' in North East LS by the modification shop.

How to work as Mechanic?
- You will see a pink tractor blip on your map. Go there with a tow truck (That you can buy from any truck shop, mark them via /gps) [Press Num_2 and Num_8 to control it] and take the abandoned vehicle with the smoking engine.

- Then go to the truck blip in your radar to get paid by Iron.

- There are 6 abandoned vehicles around LS at any time and 3 abandoned vehicles around SF. Iron amount is 500 units.
Side Mission
- There's also a new special side mission, which asks you to fix abandoned cars around Los Santos. It has a white "R" icon. To repair the car, press X, click on the car, and then click on "Repair vehicle". You'll get money for every repaired vehicle.

With the latest update, Mechanics have the ability to paint vehicles with spraycan. Just like medics heal players by spraying them, mechanics can paint vehicles anywhere. You only need to press RMB, aim at the vehicle you want to paint and fire the spray!
