Title: MTA problem
Post by: Yahya49 on 03 05, 2020, 05:16:11 pm
Hey everyone, I had a problem with MTA over the last 3 or 4 weeks. simply when i'm using MTA and I go check something while MTA is running by using the windows button or alt+tab my screen freezes and it stays frozen for more than 10 minutes and then MTA closes itself. I really hope to solve this problem it became really annoying. in the past I used to do it without any problem now I don't know why this happens, Thanks for your time!

Search for %temp% and prefetch and delete everything located in those folders.
- See if that helps. If not, continue the following steps.
- Press CTRL + ALT + DEL.
- Click on "Start Task Manager"
- You will see the processes running. Close all of them which are not needed. Right click on the process and click "End Task"
- See if that helps. If not, continue the following steps.
- Delete all of the unused games/programs you have installed on your computer.
- To make sure, run a system scan with your antivirus.
- Delete every gun/vehicle mod, ENB series you have. They affect your FPS badly.
- Download Razer Game Booster.

It's a problem with MTA itself. The only solution for now is to change your game to borderless window or borderless keep res.

Try to disable the FPS limiter
Launch your gta_sa.exe and go to

Options -> Display -> Advanced -> turn off Frame Limiter. You could also disable some other options if you like to.
Start MTA > Open Task Manager (Press and Hold CTRL + Shift + ESC) => Click on "Processes" => Right click on gtasa.exe => Move your Mouse Cursor to "Set Priority" and set it to "High".
Defrag your hard disk (optional)
Put GTA on your SSD if you have one.
Disable Virtuallization
Disable Vsync
Also clean your PC by using CCleaner or any other program.
here is some of steps that might be helpful:

That's the only solution for now. As far as I know the MTA team are working on it.
