Title: when newbies arrest someone, he'll be took to the jail directly.
Post by: zurq on 06 11, 2021, 12:54:01 am
Okay, the title is so long so I couldn't state anything. I recently saw a newbie, he arrested someone and he kept wondering how is he following him. He said "What" in the local chat, and I told him to take him to the jail, etc.. So here my suggestion goes, when someone is less than 15 hours, and he arrested someone, he'll be took to the jail directly without taking him to the jail. As it's annoying for real, I just saw a newbie getting annoyed from this.

Actually you must be very simple to say 'what' after hitting him with the nightstick more than 3 times, also the counter appears and still didn't get it. Instead of auto jailing them, a better way should show them the PD. For example a text above the criminal's head. If they don't learn to bring them to the PD then they will never learn. There's an icon aswell, maybe it should be blinking or auto enable the GPS but not auto jail the criminal. It's just giving them too much. Let them learn how to properly arrest someone and let them have the fun of defending himself when their friends will try to kill the cop. I experienced when I was very new in the server and If I'd go back in time, I wouldn't like this auto jail system.

I'm pretty sure they get a green path on their maps that they need to follow to put the arrested criminals in jail, so what's the issue?

Guys this won't work what if a Pro cop arrested you inside a shop in the middle of the riot and criminals can't save you then cops will be abusing it. I mean how can CIT algorithms know if you are a newbie or not like using a second account. :cros:

I agree with you also if they can (arrest) someone so sure thing that they know where to go and its easy like what Raef said there's a green path so they can follow. it, I am Negative

What about people whom are old players create a new account just to abuse/exploit this? Do you have any solution for that? Answer me then I'll vote again. Neutral.

The suggestion is good but this will give an advantage who opens another account, imagine there are a lot of criminals inside a store with one APB then someone opened a new account and rushed inside of the store, he tries to hit the APB with a nightstick by running and he hits 3 times, so the APB goes to jail directly, don't you think that community won't say anything about this?

if you/we find any solution for this then the suggestion can be added imo, as I said above I don't say anything bad for the suggestion but you must think about who opens 2nd since they know how to play.

Is adding it with serial, possible? I meant, like "arresting someone will be took to the jail directly", will be per serial. Like, if you created new account you won't be able to do it, only in a new pc.

I understood. If it's possible, why not.

Perhaps we should get rid of entirely the driving arrested players to police station and replace it with once arrested, you are frozen for like 15 seconds with arms up animation and if the cop stays nearby without being killed then you are jailed.

This would give criminals a huge advantage over cops by having the cop stay in the location, outnumbered. Meanwhile having to deliver the criminal gives the cop a chance to outrun the criminals that are trying to release the arrested player.

You can run with your car while the arrested guy is frozen. And try to survive for 15 seconds. Arran's idea is logic though

I really agree with that, I think it's the best decision to make. Auto GPS

This.

It will eliminate the scumbag cops that arrest you and then drive next to 10 other cops and /release you so they can all shoot you down when you can't do anything in response. Just do what you said here and if a wanted criminal is nearby maybe make it so the timer extends until either they die or run away and if the arrested criminal is too lazy to wait for help they can do /surrender to be jailed instantly (without using one of the 3 /surrender's though obviously).

I know this isn't what you suggested but it should make things easier for everyone:

- Instead of having to take arrested players to the nearest police station, you must just stay near them for 10 seconds. (Arran + zurq)
