Hey, this is a simple discussion I am opening, lately, the past month I had faced problems like the same race repeating over and over for multiple times, it always ran out in a circle of Random race > X Race > Random race > the same X race and that lasts for hours, I asked Vampire about it and he said that he asked Arran about this and he replied that the script is working perfectly fine, if you play races a lot, you will notice how bad it works because of the random races feature, just let the races work in a simple order like before to avoid such problems, also to make races interesting.
Few players might be interesting about this.

Yeah that's annoying and almost the number one reason I sometimes get fed up from racing. There goes my upvote, it's more logical to change that.

KubeQQQ had reported the race that was frequently been playing but Chin invalidated it for insufficient screenshots to prove that the race was being played more often. If I'm not mistaken the race is North west los santos track. I mean it was a similar issue with Juniper hollow track 2.
Known, it's not only the same race, but it also started 3 months ago and the same race getting played over n over is getting changed at some times, for no reason and no one knows how. It seems the script won't work anymore and it has flaws but unfixable, so reverting it to the original is a lot better. What's your vote after all? If you want to vote.

the goals of the discussing board is search for ways to make the players interesting in playing and trying new jobs and things, and races is one of the most important things in the community that make players play and enjoy so if it become boring so it won't be good for all, so we shouldn't use random races and we should take care of this field.

@Senza wouldn't be better to make a script or something that prevents the same race to start again when it just got finished? If races work this way, the same race wouldn't take place again when it just got finished and it would still be randomly generated. It's been long since I don't play races but I guess that making it in a way that it works with a predefined order would give an advantage to those riders who are non-stopping playing races since they would know every race order, don't you think?
Earlier today, I was running in a circle of 10 races, the same 10 races get played and I couldn't test any new race except for 1, this circle was going on for 1 hour and 30 minutes, this is a discussion tho, which means it is not the final solution. You are welcome to give information about this as I might consider it instead, as the script is broken tho.

I told that to him, Vampire was clear about it that he asked Arran, and Arran said it's not a bug and the script is working fine.

Well, there used to be system that was playing races one by one, idk why it got removed THO.
Acoridng to multiple races, I think the "repeating" thing is because of adding new races, before there wasnt such thing like that, after new races got added it happend.

I reported "North West Los Santos Track" , and it got disabled, after recent addition (20 new races) this race came back, but I informed vampire about it. Now after it got deleted, "Wu Zi Mu" track is getting repeated, so its like fighting with waves.

I didn't notice any repetition in races and there are a lot of race maps. If it has happened, it will be rare.
Randomly races are challenging sometimes because you don't expect what the way should be.

You are not a racer then. Most of us find it pretty common.
Its like ( Race 1 > Race 2 > Race 1 > Race 1 > Race 3)

In order to achieve noticing this bug, you need to at least play races for at least 1 hour a day, you will find same races getting repeated instead of the other races that not being played as much as the ones that are repeated in the same cycle every day.

That doesn't mean to guarantee you experiencing this problem, you have to play for longer tho.

Faced the problem 'race is always being repeated', imo this system is smth bugged, So upvoting this.

This is important , reason :
Many times happened next race to be same as previous , which is boring . Plus there are some races that might be not for hours days etc.... :tick:
