Linking forum account with in-game account

I've been trying to link this forum account with my in-game account but It's always saying "The username and or password you entered was incorrect" but I'm pretty sure that I'm filling the right username and password. So I think that the problem is from my username because it contains this character " à ", I'm asking if there any solution and thanks.

use /linkforumaccount <yourForumaccountName> <YourForumAccountPassword>

So you should add the account name correctly and the password as well. You can know the full name of your forum account name from your profile.

Greetings! I think you did a mistake in linking your forum account, so allow me to explain. Click on the link, and you'll see your username, copy it, then back to the game, and click F8, and type the command, then paste your username and type the password, and I believe it'll fix the problem. As I said before that I have tried many times and I tried again but It's the same thing it keeps saying that my account name and/or password is wrong but I'm sure that I typed them correctly.

I'm just wondering if there any solution even if it takes to change this account name if possible, or shall I create a new forum account and delete this one.

@Arran is there anything you can do to help him? Like linking his forum account manually.
His forum username is màhdy and in-game account is mahdimahdi

Maybe there's a problem with some special characters.

@Nacho69 since there's no solution to your problem I assume you will need to create a new forum account, but I advice you to contact an L4 first to see if they can and are willing to retrieve stuff from the account you are using now.
I mean, registration date could be changed on your new account, ranks (if any) could be moved and maybe your posts too.
