10 Year Anniversary

On the 26th of December 2010, CIT opened to the public. Soon it will be 10 years since that day. I was going to try and do a big update for the 10 year anniversary update, but the little motivation I had was ruined by that IP migration problem. So instead of doing nothing at all, I'm sure there are some little things that can be done for the anniversary like:

Things that various members of the community can do on the day:
- For flood event use: "teamvote all Start flooding event?" to attempt to start the flooding event which will only start if 51%+ vote yes. (Any L3+ Staff or CEM has access to do teamvote all)
- For flying cars event use: "teamvote all Start flying cars event?"
- Some kind of party but needs more detail, plenty of people could do this, but I don't think anyone has taken the initiative.
- Ask everyone to join race so can have huge races, LMS event, etc.

Things I need to do for the day:
- Double pay event.
- Reset the player peak to 0.
- Place a hit on every cop, criminal and gangster?

As I wasn't sure if it was the 24th or the 26th that we opened to the public, I opened an old backup of the forum database and restored the news board topics. Useful for anyone who wants to see some history / nostalgia / creating a timeline of major events.

My ideas for Community Integrity of Transparency Anniversary

⫸ Any new Type of Event.
⫸ Double Earnings.
⫸ Double Earnlimit.
⫸ A Little decoration on roads.
⫸ A Huge Party at Santa Maria Beach.

Got an idea where very old (or older versions) scripts can be run, like that very old CnR event where the criminal side had to plant a bomb and the cops side try to defend it, I don't remember the event name unfortunately.

If you can remember what scripts you were running on 2012 and 2013, I'd suggest we play the server as it was for the day(26th). No random killing, no hits, no to tons of stuff.

I think it would be a cool idea to encourage players to share the server and tell their friends to join and try it, we can reset the peak to 0 and then reward every player on server with money or VIP hours on each 100 players.  Other than that, double earnings, no earn limit and other cool non-boring events will be fun to have.

Also rewarding active players or anyone who'll log in on that day(unique serials only) with some cash based on the years they've been on the server would be fair, to make veteran players a lil bit happier.

You know what would be funny - making LS the work city *SF* ; making LV the cop-criminal event city*LS*; making SF the gangster turfing city*LV* just for that day. It'd be interesting and personally i'd no-life the whole day
