Weapons (Full Guideline + Some Calculations)
« on: 31 07, 2015, 12:02:18 am »

The purpose of this guideline is to make life easier for newbies when it comes to weapons in general. Also, this topic has some valuable information for even the experts .. It contains some interesting calculations about weapons and which one may suits you the best!

This guideline only contains Non-LV weapons. Most likely, i'm going to add LV weapons in the next weeks.

I also want to thank my friend Sheriff ( @Sheriffi ) for his help .. He helped me a lot testing these weapons which took us ages of hard work .. Thank you Sheriff

Some Hints :

- You can buy guns via three ways :
1- Gun Shops ( Scroll down to see the locations of all gun-shops in CIT )
2- Some markers ( In White ) .. You can find it in some places , for example : LSPD , El Quebrados Hospital .
3- F7

- Weptypes could be very useful .. Using them may give you an extra but fair advantage against your opponent .. Right now there are only one weapon which supports this .. M4 .. To enable it , go to the : Settings and enable it from there.

- You can shoot while being in a car ( Use your mouse clicks )

- You don't like the look of your weapon? This isn't a problem at all .. Just type this command : "/gunmods" and enjoy a variety of HD weapons!

- Oh .. You don't like your crosshair either? No worries , Just go the settings and look for the  alternative crosshair.. It is named : Set Weapon Dynamic CrossHair .. You are going to like it , this is for sure!

- You can also add a special marker which will only appear when you shoot somebody.. This is a useful thing to have as you will start knowing whether you are damaging your enemy or not. You can enable this option by opening the settings window. It is under the name of : Hit Mark Crosshair

- Can't run while carrying some type of weapons? Simply go to the nearest gym ( or use /walkstyle in case you got some VIP hours ) and change your walk style to : Sneak
* This doesn't work with the Minigun.

- Don't forget to visit any 24/7 store .. They got some nice Thermal Goggles and Night Vision Goggles too. These two goggles can help you in some cases.
You can also buy Melee weapons from these stores ( Some of them you can only craft it ).

- You can only carry 9000 bullets of almost all the weapons. ( You can store the rest in your car/house inventory )

- You can change your fight style by visiting any gym ( Or /fightstyle for VIPs ) .. Every fight style has some unique moves and hits which you can perform by pressing : Right mouse click + F ( For more info : Scroll down to the Fist Section )
You can also get in a defensive position and block your opponent hits by pressing : Right mouse click + Shift

- F7 is a market which you can reach wherever you are .. Also, In most cases guns and ammo there cheaper than what you would find in gun-shops.

- You can craft some Melee weapons like : Katana , Knife .. Click F9 for such a purpose.

- You can also craft Ammo for your weapons via F9 .. This is a table for what ammo you can craft and for how much ( Remember : You must own the weapon first ) :

I allowed myself to do some interesting calculations to determine which is the best weapon in the the ordinary Circumstances .. These calculations are only based on math .. It doesn't represents in-game actual combats ( well, it does in limited situations ) .. Assuming ( in this list ) that two guys are standing next to each others without moving so every bullet fired would land perfectly!
Taking into account these following facts :
1- Average damage for each weapon
2- Average fire rate time
3- Average reloading time
4- The opponent has a health of 150 HPs and without armor

Here is the list ( Excluding shotguns due to them being random in most cases - Surely they would be on the top of the list ) :

Minigun -- 1s
Uzi -- 1.32s
M4 -- 1.32s
AK-47 -- 1.32s
Tec-9 -- 1.364s
MP5 -- 1.785s
Country rifle -- 2s
Deagle -- 2.69s
Sniper rifle -- 3s
Colt -- 5.38s

Vehicles

I also allowed myself to test the impact of weapons upon vehicles and what is the best weapon to destroy a car.. The test was conducted on the average-everyday cars of CIT.

Please take into consideration the following :
- Only one bullet of each weapon
- The test was conducted on the average medium sized cars.. I don't know if the same numbers hold for other kind of vehicles.
- Those numbers are mostly averaged
- Hitting the tires won't damage the car itself.. Useful hint

Here is the list :

Taser = 4 HPs
Deagle = 14 HPs
Colts = 6-7 HPs
MP5 = 2-3 HPs
AK-47 = 4 HPs
M4 = 4 HPs
Uzi = 4 HPs
Tec-9 = 4 HPs
Sniper = 18 HPs
Minigun = 4-5 HPs
Country Rifle = 10 HPs
Molotov = 60-70 HPs
Hydra rocket = 22 HPs

It is also useful to say that the damage power of each military vehicle that is available in CIT is linked to a certain weapon.. These vehicles have the same damage as the weapons they are linked with.. Here is the list  :

Hunter = Minigun
Seasparrow = M4
Rustler = M4 + Rocket launcher

Fists :

Damage ( Per hit ) : 2 HP

This is a list for different fight styles in CIT .. The list contains the following :

Effort is great but the relevance is weak. If it wasn't so nicely composed then I would delete it since it's not directly related to CIT features and one can simply find information about weapons in gtawikia.com

Thank you guys for your posts .. I will try to work on LV weapons + AVs .. I will add in the next days , I hope  ;D

Effort is great but the relevance is weak. If it wasn't so nicely composed then I would delete it since it's not directly related to CIT features and one can simply find information about weapons in gtawikia.com

Thank you for your post .. I didn't ask for making it sticky or anything and I didn't post it for someone's appreciation .. I did it for the community.

Relevance is weak? I can't see anything in my topic related to something outside CIT .. In fact, most of the data only applies for CIT ( it is not the same as other servers or even GTA SA ) .
GTA wiki? I invite you mate to go there and find half of the info here ..
This is CIT related .. CIT has many different things than the original GTA .
Weapons damage here is different somehow ..

I even worked on SAPD police database .. which you check here :
Click on me
https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=51892.0

I've worked on more than 50 vehicles .. What I noticed was , Cars performance was totally different than the original GTA .. For example , I could find GTA Wiki saying something about how fast this car is , but in CIT , it so damn slow!

Anyway .. Sorry for this long post .. I just wanted to say that this information you wouldn't find it in anywhere else , not in GTA Wiki , not in any another server!

*Claps for Sabfas' extraordinary work

t's all very noteworthy but not that relevant for the community to make it sticky. Still I just read all of it and very informative database, can't believe you've had time to figure out all these damage/fire rates and distances etc.

Great job
Hobosa giriyorsun bir turfe 15 kişiyle beraber girip def atıyorsun olurda birisini öldürürsen eZ yazıyorsun ve bakın burası en kritik nokta 2O11 yazman çok önemli en önemlisi bu. Diğer bir kritik nokta şu ; bu rakamları karşısında vereceğim harfler yerine kullanmalısın ki karşındaki arap desinki waaooow man this fucking nigga know this fucking game's language fuck man he s so fucking good

Deagle is almost as same as most of the other weapons .. A bit random , but yeah , it is 47 HP in the whole range , either you are close or too far , it would be 47 HP according to my test
