Title: Remodeling the LS Mall to make it beginner-friendly
Post by: Slow on 03 04, 2020, 09:10:45 pm
I am suggesting a refurbishment of the mall (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/gtawiki/images/7/70/VeronaMall-GTASA-Market.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120916183528) where beginners spawn for their very first time.

This is what the mall currently looks like:

1. Current impediment

I have been a Guide for the past 2 months and the most common question I have come across, from newcomers who spawn at the mall, rounds around how to get a job. Such a question is kind of ironic because newbies could just walk upstairs to acquire a job (refer to the spoiler) but a vast majority of their time they do not. For obvious reasons, Guides cannot be online 24/7 surveilling beginners who are clueless about how to employ themselves and this resource (the LS Mall) handed over to the most important pillar of the server (beginners, within a long term context) is not as optimized as it should be.

To summarize this item, have a look at the album below and notice by yourself how most of the time they just roam around the first floor of the mall:

2. How to optimize the infrastructure of the mall

List of unused facilities (https://imgur.com/a/UgEfqZl)

As you may have noticed in the link above, some of those establishments are either closed or occupied by static vehicles that have no practical purpose. Hence, the best alternative is to remove those useless vehicles, open up all the closed establishments on the first floor and make them actually useful by:

Its a great idea , Most of the new players who join the server literally spend half their time asking about how to get a job and even then sometimes its hard to make them understand. The mall is basically a full stop for new players , as they can buy stuff they want and get jobs. But they ignore the 2nd floor. There is a lot of space in the first as shown by the album. There is no harm in moving the markers just to simplify it for the new players. If not all , at least the most popular ones.

Excellent idea. I've moved as many to the ground floor as possible. Thanks.
