Title: [+++] Making a message showing up in Trading Chat when you put your items on F7

Do you know there's a trading chat in J panel? People use it to look for items(goods) seller or buyer by /td <text>.
And we also use /superadvert for that, but also advert something different from 'trading', like group applying, forum links, etc.

I'm active on F7 trading market, and sometimes I'm thinking how to sell items out quickly, and let others see my items in F7.
When you put your items on F7, it shows Put Item (Amount $Price/unit) up on market.

Here comes an idea that Making a message showing up in Trading Chat when you put your items on F7.
It might show "Playername has put Item (Amount $Price/unit) up on market".
(trading) TwCafe[FBI-MW] has put Iron (725914 $28/unit) up on market.

So trading chat can be more useful, and don't worry, it won't annoy people who don't want see it.

You can enable 'show in chatbox' or 'Beep on Message' as you wish.

Why we need this be added?
-People who enable 'show in chatbox' or 'Beep on Message' will instantly notice the items you're selling, and will buy it if they're interested in it. Make you faster sell out items, and also make you buy items faster you're looking for.

Don't we have /superadvert, what's the trading chat(/td) for?
-In my opinion, the advert chat can be used more widely, trading related, or group/squad applying, forum links, etc.
And trading chat most likely for seeking items(goods) seller or buyer

I think it's unnecessary for me, what if I don't want to see the trading chat msg showing in chatbox?
-Don't enable 'show in chatbox' or 'Beep on Message' it's optional

To avoid players put items and remove it and re-doing it again and again, we can make it 'you can only put the same item 5 times in 3 minutes.'

Aye, currently, people don't check the trading chat because noone uses it, it's dead. And I believe after this update anyone interested in trading can enable 'show in chatbox' or 'Beep on Message'. It helps.

people didn't use the Trading chat in the past when the server players were +1000 and it was misused by many people any way it won't harm anyone so am still neutral

Hmm... I believe this chat is kinda special not for people chatting there, with my suggestion make an auto notification when there is a one putting item on F7.

Post by: Nobody_ on 23 03, 2022, 05:39:49 pm: I've been thinking about something similar for a long time, like putting a "notify me when this item is at this price", which would make it A LOT easier when buying and selling, without having to keep looking in F7 every 10 minutes , and have a chance to lose the item.

Yes, you can confirm the trading market by pressing F7 key 100 times in a minute, what a brillian way.

And this idea saves you and my time, why not this been added yet? :tick:

The FBI cute boi said what I'm thinking. And I saw many advers about this topic, I'm supporting this idea, it can improve a part of the trading market, and the most importance is can make the goods being sold out faster. :tick:

Although 1 change, if you put an Item and it auto advertised on trading chat then if you want to put another item you'll have to wait 15 mintues before getting auto advertised

Example:
I put Iron on the market for 20$ and then I went and put explosives for 400$ then it won't send a another message until 15 minutes has passed

Why? you said a maximum of 3 times in 5 minutes, in peak hours we have like 250 players online if only 10% decided to start putting items in the same time that's 75 messages spammed in a short amount of time

Also, maybe a command can be added to know how time left before it auto advertises?

Thx to the SO, I'm support this auto advert in trading chat.
And like what this SO said, there should be a limited, do it won't be spammed. :tick:

I think it's because you didn't mention the point why adding such a change, and how is that so necessary why the community need this. What I see in your point in the topic you made is 'make marketing a bit easier and fix the trading chat and make it more active.' Sounds not attractive to me tbh.
But what my point is making an auto notification in trading chat to make people instantly notice the items you're selling, and will buy it if they're interested in it. Make you faster sell out items, and also make you buy items faster you're looking for.

Hmm... I'm appreciate the community support my suggestion, and hope the admin will add it. <3

Post by: ZezitOS on 08 04, 2022, 01:34:33 pm: I must say, I don't know how wasn't this implemented before. First of all, superadvert shouldn't be used in the first place for this kind, specially when we have got a trading chat which around 50% of playerbase doesn't know of its existence.

When adding this, the upper message (known as tips) which tells players about F7 could also include a message to tick this chatbox via J panel. Passing this knowledge to players who aren't aware of this.

I'm voting positive for this.
