PERKS, LEVELS AND RANKINGS.

I can not stress this enough, THIS IS GONNA MAKE CIT THE BEST EVARRR.
I support this idea
Talking, laughing, loving, breathing, fighting, fucking, crying, drinking. writing, winning, losing, cheating. kissing, thinking, dreaming.

This is the way, it's the way that we live

Well I think there are a lot of comments approved for one feature meanwhile I think the medic ranks aren't enough.
So I suggest : MORE CASINO FEATURES : BLACKJACK, POKER, MORE GAMBLING.

Maybe some kind of achievement system, including things like:

- First arrest
- 10th arrest
- 100th arrest
- 500th arrest
- 1000th arrest

- First player healed
- ...

- First weapon bought
- All weapons bought
- 100% skills for <Insert Weapon Name>
- 100% skills for all weapons
- 9999 rounds bought for a weapon
- 100% cycling skills
- 100% bike skills

- First kill
- First drug(s) in pocket
- First drug(s) sold
- Owned hits for each type of drugs

- 1st bankrob
- 1st bankrob passed
- 5th bankrob
- 5th bankrob passed
- ...

- 10/100 houses robbed (first house robbed)
- 10/100 deliveries made (first delivery made)
- 10/100 passengers driven (first passenger driven)
- First car bought (First bike, plane, boat bought)
- $100.000 earned
- $100.000 in pocket
- $1.000.000 earned
- $1.000.000 in pocket
- First house bought

- First vehicle jacked and delivered
- First briefcase delivered
- First turf taken over
- 10th vehicle jacked/briefcase delivered/turf taken over
- 50th ... 100th ...

- First streetrace won
- 5th ... 10th ...

... and more. People love achievements and will try to get all of them. It's really fun.

Could somebody go into detail on: perks levels and rankings.

Could somebody go into detail on: perks levels and rankings.

In short, meta-idea:

It's all co-respondant and co-related. It's a hard thing to work out, but once done, could immortalize CIT. We all know why people love MMOs, right? Competitivness, ego-boost, narcissism(we're human, after all). The idea behind PL&R is the system of causality. In short, each actions is represented by a certain rise/fall of certain number in a list full of statistics. Example given:
thePlayer buys shotgun. thePlayer uses shotgun. At start, thePlayer has shotgun infliction damage of xHP and accuracy rate of x%(meaning that shotgun will cause damage 1/y shots fired).  Each bullet that inflicted some sort of damage causes for ShotgunRating to increase by x% eventually causing player to level up in shotgun use. When thePlayer levels up in shotgun, he inflicts more damage (increasing xHP damage inflicted) and increases accuracy (1/y-1). Let's say that there are 10 possible levels. The accuracy increasing can happen on every 3 levels. The more damage thePlayer inflicts via Shotgun, the more points he gains. thePlayer can (would) type /ranks to open up a huge GUI with shitload of tabs that would each represent different rating with one big OVERALL rating involved as well. The more points thePlayer has on shotgun usage, the higher on rank he is. The higher on rank he is, the more (for example) "free" bullets he gets while buying shotgun.
Same method can be implied on almost any weapon, and, finally, job/proffesion. If someone is, per se, a cop, the more arrests he gains, the more money he gets for getting the job done. The more money he gets, the higher the position on Ranking table. The higher the position on ranking table, the more criminals one can arrest at once (causing cops to be motivated to get in the top50-60-w/e elite to fight for top position). Other example can be, per se, robber. The more houses robbed, the higher the level of house-robbing, the higher the level, the more money, the more money, higher ranking.

It's very complicated, but main part is causality system. I have pushed for this for long time, but I think it's finally getting reckognized. It may take a lot of time for this all to get scripted, but once it does CIT will get FAR MORE players and FAR MORE respect than it ever did. I suggest, if this idea gets through, to open a temporary board with goal of establishing how perking and leveling and ranking will be done.

Could somebody go into detail on: perks levels and rankings.

Perks should be like an "equip". You should only be able to wear 1 (or 2) at a time. They should level up while you are wearing them. I was thinking of something like this:

Perk level requirements:
Level 1 (initial)
Level 2 (5 hours)
Level 3 (15 hours)
Level 4 (50 hours)
Level 5 (100 hours)

Perks:

Running Perk (Speed * variable)
Level 1 (105%)
Level 2 (110%)
Level 3 (115%)
Level 4 (120%)
Level 5 (130%)
Only applies while running with "space spam"!

Reload Perk (Reloadspeed * variable)
Level 1 (130%)
Level 2 (160%)
Level 3 (190%)
Level 4 (220%)
Level 5 (250%)

Shooting speed Perk (Shootingspeed * variable)
Level 1 (105%)
Level 2 (110%)
Level 3 (115%)
Level 4 (120%)
Level 5 (130%)

Accuracy Perk (Accuracy * variable)
Level 1 (110%)
Level 2 (120%)
Level 3 (130%)
Level 4 (140%)
Level 5 (150%)

Magazine Perk (Ammo * variable)
Level 1 (120%)
Level 2 (140%)
Level 3 (160%)
Level 4 (180%)
Level 5 (200%)

Health Perk (Max. Health * variable)
Level 1 (110%)
Level 2 (120%)
Level 3 (130%)
Level 4 (140%)
Level 5 (150%)

Vehicle Perk (Vehicle damage * variable)
Level 1 (95%)
Level 2 (90%)
Level 3 (85%)
Level 4 (80%)
Level 5 (70%)

Citizen Perk (Earned money from citizen jobs * variable)
Level 1 (110%)
Level 2 (120%)
Level 3 (130%)
Level 4 (140%)
Level 5 (150%)

Paramedic Perk (Earned money while paramedic * variable)
Level 1 (110%)
Level 2 (120%)
Level 3 (130%)
Level 4 (140%)
Level 5 (150%)

I don't know which ones of these are actually possible and if the numbers are realistic, but I hope this will help ;).

Running perk, health perk.
Those might cause unfair advantage. Also god already increases health.

PERKS, LEVELS AND RANKINGS.

I agree with that, also I will list off a few ideas in order of how interesting they are to me

1. This is very important to me, since you can level up your bike, and motorbike, in the single player, you can also level up your driving skills, I propose that you script a leveling system, or somehow use the single players leveling system to level up driving skill.

2. 24/7 store rob, only 1 criminal at a time does it, they can all do it once or twice a day, you make 5-10k and only police officers can respond, there should be multiple places to do this robbery.

3. Body armor for sale at a reasonably high price 5,000-10,000$ for everybody to buy including medics, civilians, criminals, and unemployed.

4. Fire arms license, more of a test than pay lots of money, like lets say you ask a questions when and where, and how you can use guns in CIT if passed you can buy, and own guns.

5. Last but not least, all are important to me, I propose a driving school, and general road rules for CIT, like we all drive on the same side of the road, and other rules that follow along safe and respectful driving

- Exhaustion system similar to the one in single player, sprinting (tapping space rapidly) for e.g 15 seconds makes you exhausted then you can't sprint anymore for e.g 10 seconds, only jog.

- Ammunition manufracting and selling system, manufraction similar to the current drug factory system and selling like the gun selling system we had before, except that you can't sell the ammunition you're having on you, which was shown abuse able, only created ammo.

Some small but easy and nice feature:

Selling houses for like half of the initial price.

(This is for the people who can't get rid of their house, and are bothered by the limit which only allows you to have 3 houses)

PERKS, LEVELS AND RANKINGS.
This is cool, dont get me wrong, but i don't actually see the rationale, I mean everybody will eventually reach the top level, like bike skill right?

5. Last but not least, all are important to me, I propose a driving school, and general road rules for CIT, like we all drive on the same side of the road, and other rules that follow along safe and respectful driving
Totally agree! CIT has the worse casualty rate!

Now for my idea! XD:

Buyable items! Like say, notebook, speakers (functioning), stuff. They could be props. But they may be cool if they function. And they can be used for RP!

Also, probably a new feature to add in graphics, like advertisement for group, new textures, from websites, or downloaded (precached).

My ideas :
1-for the perks, lvls , as anon say make lvl for medic, cop(arrests),gangster(turf),crim(hijack and BC),civilian job and calculate the average to get a level <- good idea
2- change the group menu add more ranks ( or make the leader of groupe can add some ranks )  because deputy+leader are not good enough and put a script for auto tags ( leader can change )
Exemple
Leader , vice leader , colonel , deputy , .... ( it's just an example ) auto tags = |L| , |VL| ... <- Good Idea
3-add something like bankrob ( I call it TDM room ) with 2 teams u get money for kills and bonus add the end  <- Would this "arena" involve gambling your own money?
4-Make SF more active to prevent lags <- How?
5-make the game more real <- It's a video game
6-organise for exemple one Time per month tournament for the Best base <- Meh, be hard to find people who weren't biased.
7- to Make the media topics more active and to get more videos on YouTube, organize tour ament for the best CIT movie , for Exemple one time per month <- CIT Film Competition good idea.
At end, srry for my bad English , I am trying to develop my skills
Best regards
That's my take on this.

For the base competion u must be famous to partipate, we will not choose random people
Famous people that all have affiliation with one group or another.
