MTA Crashing for some reason

Greetings, I downloaded MTA and GTA:SA so I can play MTA on my new laptop but for some reason every time I start MTA it opens the first page and crashes right away before I can even move the mouse.. Here's a screenshot of the crash tab if it might helps : https://imgur.com/Sk5Bae7

So, from your computer is missing that file named "d3dx9_42.dll" which can be found HERE download, and copy/paste in that folder. The problem is that about, your Microsoft DirectX software must be updated and you need to have old versions and new versions for all games. I hope will help you

Try Re-installing both GTA:SA and MTA if possible. Also happens to me in my case I put my GTA:SA and MTA in the same file hope this might help

If they don't work, reinstall Directx on your computer again, then, also do "Right click on MTA SA, Run as Administrator"

best option for you is to buy the game, since most of the pirated versions of the game might have corrupt files that would have an issue running with MTA.

As some people stated before, try to buy the game because most of the time there will be some bugs or errors playing MTA while using a pirate GTA. About your error, if you have not resolved it yet. Extract and run MTA-Dialog and follow all the steps. Let us know if the problem is solve or not yet.
