Hoi there.
Read the whole post before voting/posting!
I noticed that a lot of people get punished for Rule #14, but when you look for that rule in the F1 window, all it says is the following:
14. Don't ask for help in the support channel if it's not CIT server related.

However, people get punished for other reasons than that:
- Non-English
- Flaming
- Trolling
- Repeating an already given answer (around 6 to maybe 20 seconds afterwards)
- Repeating questions although they've JUST been answered already
- Spamming/Flooding
- Advertising
- Anything else that is not "asking a CIT server related question" or "answering a question"

So, players get confused and they do not know what a misuse of the chat exactly means.

My suggestion:
14. Do not misuse the CIT support chat. "Misuse" can mean the following: spamming, flooding, non-english, advertising, flaming, trolling, repeating a question more than once although it was already answered, repeating an answer that has already been stated at least around 6 seconds ago, asking a not CIT server related question and anything else that is not "asking a CIT server related question" or "answering a question".

If you think this is too long: Look at Rule #17 ingame, then think about it again.

This would, of course, require new translations of this rule, but it would be more than worth it in my eyes.
Thanks for reading.

I agree 100% on this suggestion, however looks a bit long, well a rule is a rule and players should follow it not depending on how it looks :P

Lets make that clear .. in the point which you stated over here :
- Repeating an already given answer
about that point I am not with you .. actually when someone ask a "Question" in "Support" chat .. maybe 3 or 4 people are helping in the support chat at that time .. they all want to help the asker of the question .. so maybe they will all say the same answer and so you are gonna mute them all ?
maybe if u removed that point I will give u a +1 until now I am Neutral!

No, incorrect.
If an answer was given, and 10 seconds after that somebody gives exactly the same answer.. that is just "I WANT SUPPORTER STATUS" behaviour and is more than unnecessary.

Of course people can type something and the same answer might appear 0 - 5 seconds afterwards, you can't just mute for that.

Repeating an answer is in NO way helpful, it's more like spam.

I don't see why not. Simply making the rule clearer and hopefully decreasing the amount of players breaking this rule.

Im all for supporting this, EXCEPT:

'' Repeating an already given answer ''

For eg, when someone asks: '' How to get blue headlights ? ''

At that specific moment I inmediatley write: '' /headlights 0 0 255 ''

At wich point the moment I click enter, theres 3 other answers simultaneously with mine.

Im helping, not trying to be '' me help me help '' and if someone has given an answer and 10s has gone by, 99% of the time I dont give an answer.

I dont want to be muted for helping.

I completely agree with you, as I said:

No, incorrect.

Repeating an answer is in NO way helpful, it's more like spam.

It happens to me aswell that I answer something and 3 others give an answer in the same second, that is normal and absolutely no problem.
I cleared that in the first post now, obviously saying "repeating an answer" is confusing a little.

Smart idea, Amazonic.
It'll be good, if this rule will be added. I hope, all nationalities can translate this rule.
Sorry, you mean "#18 - Don't misuse support channel?"
It'll be helpful for supporters and staff team.
Why not? +1.
