Title: How to healthily use Suggestion board
Post by: Dredd on 09 10, 2016, 06:30:23 pm
Hello community,
I will try to state some good info that will help suggestion board gets improved. With my experience,  I saw a lot of problems about this way of suggestions. So,  these are some things you should pay attention when you go to suggestion board. Remember that currently only JCM+ and DLx can post on the development board.

:tick: You need to read carefully every suggestion before you vote for it and comment to it if you have a new reason that is not mentioned above! ( doesn't matter if you up voted or down voted,  you just need to say why,  and how we could improve the situation that what it is healthy critism)
:tick: You need to avoid voting only for your friends or group mates without evalutating the idea and it's description and effort that the Creator was made.
:tick: You need to stop downvoting suggestions when they reach top 5 suggestions just to see yours or your friend suggestion on top.
:tick: Also which is also important,  you need to read other pages expect the first one too.  That's because most of the creators don't care about the suggestion anymore,  they won't post anything and some good ideas are getting deleted if they don't get a decent amount of upvotes the first 2-3 hours.
:tick: Moreover,  admins should first do the above things to give the example to our community,  I want to see well effort posts by admins and of course the big heads should work on them of they got upvoted and not ignore or lock them for not a decent reason.
:tick: And last,  I notice that people don't care about suggestion board because they are not rewards for posting there,  they all prefer to "camp" at general support board and farm some posts,  they don't even look other boards ( I made a suggestion about that but nobody cared because I posted on the suggestion board)
:tick: You should try to ask your friends In-game or Forum to up-vote your suggestion as this goes beyond the rules and things gets unfair advantage.
:tick: Before up-voting or down-voting or even going Neutral you should read the whole suggestion as many times as possible until you understand the whole fact. Remember keep your mind cool and do anything what you have to do it RIGHT!
:tick: Remember to use always the format!
Current format is this:
Code: [Select]
Suggestion explained in one paragraph:

Additional details that are necessary for the suggestion:

This suggestion is worth the time developing because:
Suggestion board link: https://cit.gg/index.php?board=660.0
Rules of suggestion board: https://cit.gg/index.php?topic=210552.0
How we could improve this situation and solve those problems?  We can start with ourselves and become a nice example for the community!

Why not adding the suggestion board format for suggesting anything?

This post/guide is referred to players that already follow cit rules and suggestion board rules like format and no editing rule.
But I am talking about the way members should behave on suggestion board ( things that are not punishable but they ruin the whole suggestion board )

You can add this, as the format became now optional its not compulsory to use it for making any suggestions, I think.

Other members can't post on it or can't even see it?
