Good evening,
Does anyone know where are stored the CIT Phone notes inside MTA folders?
I remember years ago being able to read them from Notepad.
-
I tried that path too but couldn't read the luac file in a human way.
I'm quite sure it was possible to read the content of notes because I tried to retrieve those spammy chars but they weren't formatted well outside of MTA.
-
Checked
C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\mods\deathmatch\resources\CITphone\apps\notes.xml?
It's empty for me, but maybe not for u?
I think it's stored in a database on the CIT server. Have you tried to login and check in your phone?

Ty pilovali but I don't have that file either
I logged in and I still have the "note" name but the it's completely empty.
Well ty everyone, it must been lost either with mta updates or server crash (not a big deal).
Topic can be closed (I hope to not break any rules in asking this)

@Apache995 It is stored here: MTA install location\mods\deathmatch\priv\<some string like S78492HBGJ>\CITsettings\settings.xml
Open settings.xml in a notepad and search for "Ryan5" although the string looks weird, this is where notes are, they aren't in a central database, they're on your computer, just weird location... could've used text files *cough* simpler solution *cough*..
