Title: MTA SA 1.4
Post by: Arran on 20 06, 2014, 12:57:11 am: Before 1.4 has been officially released, as usual CIT is helping out by having a mass test of MTA 1.4. MTA 1.4 doesn't bring many noticeable additions, to see the change log check out: http://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Changes_in_1.4 (http://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Changes_in_1.4)

Also if the server crashes often we may have to go back to 1.3 until the crash is fixed.

If you notice anything strange or a new bug make sure to report it to someone, preferably the QA board on the forum and mention it's only happened since 1.4

You can automatically get 1.4 by connecting to us on 1.3 (we won't show up in server browser though) If you last joined CIT just open the console and type reconnect and it'll then ask you if you want to download 1.4

Install 1.4 then look in the server browser, it's there.

Or put this in the MTA server browser connect box:

mtasa://s1.cit2.net:22003

You will have to download this (http://nightly.mtasa.com/mtasa-1.4-full_rc-6580-20140619.exe). After downloading and installing it just run MTA it might ask you to update to 1.4 version but ignore it, then browse for CIT server.

I can't see anything in the change log which would allow for major changes, if anything.

Except maybe some trains.

Thats 1.3.5

Click me (http://nightly.mtasa.com/mtasa-1.4-full_rc-6580-20140619.exe), install that version and once you open MTA open 1.4 not 1.3

There's no such thing called as server 1 and server 2 because cit is no longer avaliable in the old MTA SA version (1.3)

But still a lot of bugs, troubles, wrong loadings, etc.
On the other side, it's one more step to do MTA better. I hope next version increase my FPS (it's only about 20-40 now)

Why we don't make it that when they press this button it makes you open CIT server with 1.4, so if they don't have it, It will turn to auto download for MTA 1.4 until we return to 1.3 or solve the problem..Arran?

It's available to every server, but they're too lazy to try it.

Thanks to everyone who's been playing, all the new bugs we found in 1.4 have already been fixed so I expect 1.4 will be officially released within a few days.

report ? it should be a crash , press yes and it'll reconnect you to MTA

R~~e-install GTA SA.~~

That means that your gta sa is missing some files, re-install it.

Then install mta sa from here Click me (http://www.mediafire.com/download/ctb03q4599uc9r1/mtasa-1.4-full_rc-6580-20140619.exe) ( I uploaded that file for those who've problems with the MTA 1.4 default download).

Edit : asked an MTA experienced about it.

Just delete the old mta sa and re-download the 1.4 version, an it will work.

Same problem, I have to restart my pc, and even restarted, I keep crashing and crashing.

replace the mtasa 1.4 folders/files to your old mtasa 1.3 folders, its might helped,

Already asked Link (http://cit2.net/index.php?topic=111712.0) in General Support / Questions.

These is a list of some solution that you may try :

This happens when your ping is very high, try to login after some minutes.
You may have a moded GTA SA, try to install a clean version.
Restart your router and your PC.

I guess that the problem is caused by your internet, in otherwords you've a high ping so the client couldn't download the server mods for you.

Already answered you, as I said the problem is with your internet connection, the client couldn't download the server mods for you.

Well, You can try restarting your modem, I did it twice and it did work.

Never had that problem...how'd you get that ? I got both Versions Installed and it is working fine. Try to re-install everything (but keep settings) and install only MTA 1.4

Actually the server is officially released in MTA 1.4

@RedFero. I already solved that problem, your internet connection is too low, in other words your ping is too high so the client couldn't download the mods for you.

Fix : Reboot your modem
