[ADDED] Message of the day [Groups]
« on: 21 06, 2014, 07:41:47 pm »
Hi, I am suggesting to add a message of the day feature for groups. This will make it easier for group leaders to announce or remind members about special events or things related to the group.

This should pop up in the players chat whenever he logs on. Example - GMOTD: Bla bla blablabla

Also this:
How about a command that would also display the group message, /showgroupmessage, for those who're online when it changes? (so you don't have to reconnect)

I like the suggestion, there should be an command like this: /groupmessage <message> <hours>

I added the hours thing so you could set how many hours you want the message to stay.

Btw it should be like the Donator Level script thingy, everytime you log-in it pop ups.

/showgroupmessage is kinda long coomand, What about /groupsmsg or /groupmessage?
It'll be more easier.

Why not just /gmotd (group message of the day) ?

Why not /sgm (Show group message).

Anyway nice suggestion.

I want to add something, this feature should be added into 'Ranks Management' so that leaders can decide which rank would be able to use this.

Another thing is making us able to have 3-5(Or anything else more appropriate) group messages at the same time.

Why not /sgm (Show group message).
Yes, it can command, but rather a separate location designed to develop and F6 group panel.

Or just automatically display the GMOTD to the group when it's changed :fp:
