Over the past years, I have noticed that players often change their nicknames, causing some confusion around. The one thing that stays the same is their account name, which is crucial for identifying them.
In order to make things clearer and easier for regular players to identify other players, I would like to suggest the addition of a new column which be located in "Players Online" (https://cit.gg/index.php?page=players) page that may be found on the homepage specially for displaying player account names. The new column may be named as "Account" and be the second one in the row - between "Name" and "Occupation".
Adding a whole new column for player account names in the "Players Online" page would be useful, especially when regular players are reviewing applications concerning their group, squad, or community duties. This slight update would help reviewers to access essential details about an applicant without needing to be online, like "current group", "occupation", "country code", is the player online and so on.
Another scenario would be when you are searching for a specific player online using their nickname. However, if the player has changed their nickname (the one, you know him as), tracking them down becomes very challenging and barely possible, unless staff team gets involved to help with the tools they have.
TL;DR
I am suggesting the addition of a new column in "Players Online" page (https://cit.gg/index.php?page=players) that be showing the account name of the online players. This will help the community in various situations, especially when we are looking for a certain individual, but they are changing their nickname very frequently.

Having the concept extended to the top 50 richest/civs/cops/crims/etc would be neat too.

Don't you ask applicants to post their stats, F5, and provide the details you need in the application? This should include the account name, group, occupation, country, etc. Why would you need it if you can simply look at the screenshots? It seems strange.

Just for your information, players can make themselves invisible on the 'Players Online' page by setting 'Show on live map' to 'No' in the /settings.
I am voting negative because I don't see why this is needed. :cros:

I agree with this proposal that it would be easier to verify. :tick:

You can search for the player's accountname in the game, thus pointless.

You bring up a very good point, I agree with you timbery . :tick: :tick:

According to your logic, then remove the entire page as "you can go ingame and check out whatever you want". :fp:
You completely ignored the fact that, at times, players may not be able to log in to the server in order to get what they need. The forum is accessible through other devices, using a phone to load the page and check whatever you need is basically the one and only remaining alternative.

You're right but "Timbery" is talking about another thing and It's in forum, due to life or job or anyone who's busy doing other stuff and couldn't go in-game won't be able to find the player due to him changing names etc so It's not a big deal also would be helpful for these who can't get in-game at that moment. :tick:

If this is related to groups, applications and what not, you can always message a friend who's ingame through different socialmedia-platforms when in doubt. Not to mention, that you can always check out a particular player later when you are by your device. Still pointless though!
