- Press start
- Type 'cmd' and press enter
- Type 'ping s2.cit.gg' and press enter, wait until it's finished
- Type 'ping gra.pilovali.nl' and press enter, wait until it's finished
- Take a screenshot and post here.

I can see the difference between current server location and old one.

Hm okay... so like 15 ms higher? It's shitty, but not bad. My ping went from 11 to 25. That's about 2x higher.
The server is phyicically at a different location, but routing is soooo much worse at that place.
(if Arran would've asked me, I would've advice him not to move lol)

No its not about 15ms or 20 we are having ping spikes all the time and alot of the time my ping goes over 900 and I can't play its making the game unplayable
Download https://share.pilovali.nl/WinMTR.exe, put s2.cit.gg in host, press start.
Then play a bit till you have lagspike and take a screenshot of the MTR.

Issue starts at first hop. Must be your home network.
Try connecting with networkcable and try again. Don't use wifi.

In your case, your own Internet is probably shit or you're using 2.4 GHz WiFi. That can't be solved.

If anybody else has pingspikes, please let them post here with a MTR.

I tried the cable it is much better now sadly this is a short term solution I'll see what I can do
My internet router is also far away from my room, so I bought a wifi range extender and plugged it in my room's wall socket and wirelessly connected it to the main router, then I connected a cable from the range extender to my PC.

The range extender I use is TL-WA850RE, I bought it from Amazon.

I keep getting weird ping issues while my internet is fine in every other game as well.. im in the US as well so idk if that was affected by the migration but my ping was usually 90 and now it goes from 100 to 170 every few minutes but I dont get spikes and stuff.. the thing that annoys me is the combat system where I get 10% damage whenever you have over 100 ping and an extra 10% over each ping apparently or something like that according to brian and i've tested it so yes I personally need a solution

Everything west from France has atleast 10-20 ms higher ping. The server is phycically moved to a different datacenter a few hunderd km to the east of France. The routing to that place is just utter shit.
I don't think that theres a good solution.

Can you do start > cmd > tracert s2.cit.gg (WAIT until it's finished)
and
start > cmd > tracert gra.pilovali.nl (WAIT until it's finished)
then take a screenshot and post it here. I wanna see the route it takes.

I'm shocked! I've just 1,092 on my ping, this has never happened to me and the modem is a few meters away from the PC. Here you go: https://pilo.ovh/album/cmd.Nz1Q.
84 ms to CIT. That 1092 ms was probably caused by shitty internet.
You have about 10 ms higher ping than before.
