Earlier today we managed to get yet another great achievement: 1024 (http://i.imgur.com/GcC0B.png) players online. This is a great accomplishment for anyone that likes CIT and for MTA itself. Once again, we have proven that anything is possible on a Multi Theft Auto server.
I would like to thank everyone for joining the server and inviting their friends, it really means a lot to me and the rest of the staff. Becouse of this we have given everyone online at the time a 7-day VIP bonus:
Usage of /vipjetpack for transport only jet-pack (can't be used in LV, when wanted or when transporting a prisoner)
Half damage to the vehicle you're driving
Spawn with 25% armor after you die
Special login and quit message
Extra 20% cash earned when doing work
Instant respawn at hospitals
We are aware of the problems that happened related to the event money. We regret this happening but unfortuately there was no way to prevent this. We have looked into methods that will be fair to refund everyone, but it will be impossible to give everyone that was there a refund without some people receiving it twice becouse the money did save for them.I know how annoyed/mad everyone is about this, but please accept the fact that nothing can be done. Multiple staff members have also lost their money and expressed their feelings which are similar, if not the same, as what most players expressed. They as well have not received a refund.
Once again, thank you all and sorry for the losses.

yes we made it! well done. the money is actully no big deal. I didn't got anything but I don't care, just enjoy the game! 1024(1028) players online at the same time is amazing!

It is a nice record for you, but I don't hold it as anything extraordinary. If you cut off all the gameplay features, such as shooting, driving and seeing other players in MULTIPLAYING game, what is the point? Didn't we suppose to come play here, and not to follow some number in a list? Why disable game features to make number go bigger? Also, it's not so surprising if players are upset, because they didn't get what they were promised for.
And here comes the line you waited for: No I'm not going away because I don't like it, I still like the server nevertheless.

Maybe since we got 1028 players its time to get ccw and Cazomino05 and the rest of staff to work getting more max players and we will just push through through GTA history again

And yeah, congratulations Everyone we are now officially the 1st ever server to reach above 800 players I think, in MTA and SAMP. Just some people acting childish about the money, I'm happy we broke something big. :P

Glad I helped in this. I went offline after some time. I was AFK in an interior and I had a power cut. Unfortunately I didn't get VIP, but it's okay. I don't need a jetpack, when I have an helicopter.

Nah, not really. I would just like to help the server, help people, and enjoy the game with as much money as I could get or I have. Btw I only have 2 million xD and a few cars and a house :P That would be quiet it basically to have a normal life in CIT xD.
Lets see if we could make 1028 again.

BTW I reckon the reason that we had 1028 players was because 4 of those were 'connectionless' players, a bug which was introduced in 1.3. If any of you have seen players stood in the same place for days, you saw a connectionless player.

I believe this bug is caused by a server overload or a minor malfunction In mta sa scripts.
Kind of spooky in some way's.

I Think, CIT is MTA, nothing more! If u play MTA, u play in CIT, CIT has everything, thank u CIT for make MTA the best multiplayer mod for GTA:SA! SA:MP can be the most popular multiplayer mod for gta sa, but anything like cit u never will found! And cit is in MTA, so, CIT makes MTA the best multiplayer mod!! That answers the question: Why that amazing peak?! 1024!!!??!?!, because CIT is MTA in their full potential, cit makes MTA powerfull, marvellous! Thanks, Thanks CIT Community, u rock! 8)

That is correct, as your money saves when you quit and obviously it didn't save when the server shut down.

That's good, bud It was made artificially. People join game because thy wanna free money and VIP. In reality u have 600-700 max players. It is in three times more then ur competitors. So, gratz CIT. U make in fact monopoly server.
